Art and animation aside, this series is far from being trash, and as for the VA's how else are the newcomers in Japan supposed to get noticed and get jobs if studios don't take chances on them? Look at Sora Amamiya for example, she was a newcomer back in 2016 and now look at her

Yes, its easier to just bring out OG's but they're not gonna be here forever and will want to do different things, and start families and eventually retire etc. You have to give the next generation a chance to prove themselves, and I commend Mappa for allowing these kids to come in make themselves known in such a big stage like this

Sora, just like Ai Fairouz, who will be voicing Power already had some experience before she received some high profile roles. It usually were minor roles in mundane shows.
But casting some completely green guy as the protagonist of fkin CHAINSAW MAN is asking for disaster, when bar is set so high and expectations are huge.
Unless they are knowing what they are doing, because Original Author is apparently supervising casting process.
