The official website of the Shuumatsu no Walküre (Record of Ragnarok) anime series revealed four new cast and promotional video on Thursday for its second season. The new season is scheduled to premiere worldwide on Netflix in 2023. Cast Jack the Ripper: Tomokazu Sugita (Gintama) Heracles: Katsuyuki Konishi (Kimetsu no Yaiba) Raiden Tameermon: Subaru Kimura (Akudama Drive) Buddha: Yuuichi Nakamura (Jujutsu Kaisen) Animation studio Yumeta Company is co-producing the second season with Graphinica. Yuka Yamada (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) is joining Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken) for the series composition. Other returning staff include Masao Ookubo (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood episode director), Masaki Satou (Magic Kaito), and Yasuharu Takanashi (Kengan Ashura) as the director, character designer, and music composer, respectively. The first season aired in 12 episodes worldwide on Netflix last June. The anime adapts Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika's dark fantasy battle action manga, which began in Monthly Comic Zenon in November 2017. Coamix published the 15th volume on June 20. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English and will release the fourth volume on October 18. PV Source: Press Release News submitted by zanderlex |

I enjoyed the first season (anime only fan here). It had few flaws, but it was a fun ride. I can't wait to see Season 2. |

Graphinica should have made this a Full 3DCG show instead since that is what they do best they are a 3DCG anime studio to begin with |

EcchiGodMamster said: where's the all female version I'm not interested in work if there are no prominent female characters or it's about men in general - a classic. @Illyricus In fact, if you forget about the Fate-like element, there have always been many more such works than all-male ones, such as the Queen's Blade or Ikkitousen. |

CSM has good priorities from what I can see, and the VAs would have still come from competitive auditions if they are new. They would obviously get paid way less than bigger ones, but nothing is really being compromised and the audience for CSM clearly likes what they've seen. Again, you sound like you care a bit much. |

It usually were minor roles in mundane shows. But casting some completely green guy as the protagonist of fkin CHAINSAW MAN is asking for disaster, when bar is set so high and expectations are huge. Unless they are knowing what they are doing, because Original Author is apparently supervising casting process. |

This series could actually look fine if money wasn't being blown for the sake of big names. They even got Takanashi on the soundtrack for this slideshow.
