| HELL YEAH!!! Lucius' instant entrance from the last chapter, follower with a little bit of his backstory, motivation and goals. And ofc the confrontation in this chapter with Asta. Fucking goosebumps! So from what I can tell Julius and Lucius are two souls who share the same physical body. It's basically like how Patri and William Vengeance share the same body. Both of these phenomenon coincidentally involves demons, if that has to do with this anomaly at all. Essentially Lucius wanted a perfectly peaceful world by destroying the current world and rebuilding it, followed by becoming the final wizard king because, with his time magic, I assume his body is immortal. Lucius basically share the same goals as Thanos. That last panel with Asta is awesome, time stop will not work on Asta, that alone place him at the pinnacle of threat for Lucius' plan. Yet at the same time, this is TIME MAGIC we're talking about, Lucius can definitely do more than just stopping time around a radius and phew... It's gonna get pretty epic! |

| I used the hiatus to get caught up. This is the first time I am reading it weekly and this chapter flew by. Cant wait for the big fight but im also sad having to slow down and wait for then plot to progress. |
| I love that this is setting us up for not just a battle of how to change the world that needs changing but also that there's a lot of open room for the world building to expand as places outside of the four kingdoms become threatened by Lucius' plan |
| I liked the confrontation, but considering this arc literally just started last week, there is no way this battle will be the end of the story. Which means most likely the battle will end being some kind of stalemate. They can't just beat Lucius now and Lucius can't just beat Asta now, so it will result in one of them fleeing and then continuing the battle later. At least, that seems the most likely outcome at this point. |
