| 1. I'd say "Baby just got into animu over 2021 in quarantine" but that doesn't really fit cause of the last row. My observation is that FMAB and HxH are not that popular anymore. Not shiny enough and not 1-2 cour long either. Can't see a high probability of this existing, but otherwise the above descriptor applies. Death Note is also not that popular anymore among newcomers. Yes, MAL statistics are a lie. Go out (on the internet) and touch people (not in a weird way). 2. Most people would say pretentious elitist. I am not most people. Might just be a 14 year old trying to fit in with the ever-elusive true art appreciation club, which is not respectable and is definitely pretentious, yes, or might just be someone who prefers a cerebral experience with thematic exploration and DEEP commentary on psychology and society. (Literally me.) Like yeah some people genuinely enjoy consuming that and analyzing it. Go out (for real this time). It's a big world. 3. Ok this is a bit on-the-nose so I don't think it needs an explanation. Probably wants to suck off Khabib and has watched every Fast & Furious movie in theaters. Also either a 14 year old soyjak or a gymbro chad. Probably the former... 4. Cartoon enjoyer. Grew up with these in the early 2000s and is quite nostalgic towards them. Evidently hasn't watched the 90s goats though which is a shame. Also kick RWBY off of here, it really doesn't fit the subset. Replace it with Clone Wars or Justice League or Batman TAS. 5. Absolute degenerate. A stain on this planet. Waste of his parents' labors and efforts and reproductive cells. A menace to society. An unending abyss that consumes all but returns nothing. Should be euthanized. Thinks a porno script is spicy realistic drama and might become a sex offender if he hasn't already died from cooming so hard that his diaphragm exploded and his lungs collapsed. 6. Millennial, probably? Watched the retro shounens back when they were the only thing on Toonami or Adult Swim or VHS. Didn't branch out further. Somehow became a Fairy Tail and Black Clover fan too??? Nah that's inconsistent. Replace those with something like Yu Yu Hakusho or Rurouni Kenshin or InuYasha instead. 7. Likes gore and guts and cheaply written thrillers. A true edgelord; Lord of All That is Edgy. Anything with a death game and people making funny constipated faces as blood flies everywhere is peak fiction. Also probably watches Korean thrillers and reads every death game manga they can find online. 8. Moe fan and KyoAni enjoyer, particularly of the Key adaptations. Sub 70 IQ. Can't think of art as anything beyond a JPEG of a cute girl making UwU faces and noises. Anything cute is epic. Anything mildly serious or mature is boring. A devout believer when it comes to their unshakable faith in the healing properties of an obnoxious 13 year old girl saying WOIYAAA or whatever. 9. Likes manga. Has no appreciation for the craft of animation. Can be satisfied with very well drawn stills. "The adaptation is inferior. The manga was better"; truly an adage to live by. Cares mostly for what they consider to be "high" standards for writing. In reality is just a seinen fan who thinks they're consuming the most mature media out there. Throw Planetes outta here though. Replace with Vinland Saga or Vagabond. 10. All of these together? Can't really see that happening. Even with that much shit watched you still have a somewhat consistent and limited set of preferences that defines your absolute favorites. At least that's what my experience with people who have >1k anime watched tells me. P.S. You might see particular hatred for certain specific groups here. Try not to be offended if you're part of them cause I don't genuinely hate you for the most part :) |

| #1-3 are all different tastes but mostly very solid picks from the range they're covering. I respect them. Most of those 27 shows I also like to some degree. #4 seems fake tbh, I can't imagine anyone having Boruto on their 9x9, especially not if they also have fucking Rick and Morty up there. Everything about it screems that someone is memeing to me, but you never know... #5 is probably a meme too considering Boku no Pico is on there. The rest of it are mostly shows I found to be trash or never had any interest in to begin with so this is probably the most removed from my personal taste so far. Not for me at all. But at least it's thematically consistent. #6 is just battle shounen, but also just the most mainstream ones. I like most of the picks, but as a huge battle shounen fan myself I can't overlook Bleach and FT being on there over much better, but less popular shows. But by and large I could get along with this taste as I also like battle shounen a lot. #7 This is pretty edgy stuff for the most part, but also not particularly GOOD edgy stuff in my opinion. So the person either has bad/incompatible taste or just not seen a lot of edgy stuff yet. Or it's another troll, because who can legitimately like the mess that is Ousama Game, if not as a meme? I'm suspicious. #8 A pretty solid selection of cutesy moe slice of life stuff. My personal 3x3 of that genre would have about half the titles on there be replaced by others, but it does include a bunch of the best ones out there so I feel our compatability would be solid. #9 Those are all manga of stuff that also got anime, right? So this is probably an annoying sourcefag that constantly bothers people in episode discussion who only want to watch the anime. I'm happy to see Planetes up there, it is awesome, but the lack of manga that have no anime adaptation is suspicious. Most 'real' manga fans would have a bunch of manga like that in their toplist so that is a bit suspicious and makes me think of someone who only reads the manga when a anime version is announced so they can then shit on the anime as soon as it airs for not living up to the source material. I could be wrong, but that's what it smells like to me at least. But it could also be the other way round, an anime fanboy who afterwards gets obsessed with the manga counterparts because they continue the story. #10 If you put them altogether you get someone with a pretty broad taste, which is nice, but also too many memes in their favorites that just can't be taken seriously, which I don't like. Either go full meme or full serious, not this weird mix. For almost each thematic 3x3 posted here I personally agree with some of the choices and disagree with others. The ratio can vary from agreeing with 2 of them up to agreeing with 7 of them. So overall our affinity would probably be somewhat decent but not great. |

| I think you got it wrong with the FMA versions. FMA:B is definitely more fitting in #1, while FMA is more fitting in #6. Also Black Clover and MHA are simply too new-gen to be considered for the latter, they seem a bit out-of-place there, titles like Yu Yu Hakusho or Rurouni Kenshin or maybe Yu-Gi-Oh are more suitable for it. |

The best thing about this chart is that, while having very little variety in terms of genres, the person is probably super passionate about them and spends a lot more time than I do with anime. 7. "I am edgy, look at me" without being actually edgy. 8. It has Yuru Camp in the middle, it's simply based. Except for that Key anime up there, a good CGDCT purist should know the difference.
