| Even though this is not my most hyped anime for this season, I do say that this hits hard!!! A romcom anime where the two main characters is already a couple, now that is refreshing because we rarely get these tbh. Izumi is cute but pretty misfortunate af, Shikimori is cute but she's hella OP af, though they are opposite in that department, they fall to each other though, and its not hard to find out why. Along with the three supporting characters, Neko, Shuu, and Yui, looking at the two MCs in heat is blinding, but hey just like those three, I'm glad to be part of this seasonal ride. To a spring of great romcom, fluffy plus nutty moments, and of course...LOVE! |

It's the same troupes of every other anime over and over again and first episode aimed to make Shikimori look good/cool at all costs with effects and such, stereotyped classmates that teases and praise her, MC failing everytime to make SHikimori looks good and her life only matters because of the MC, there's not a single dialogue that indicates some kind of personality whatsoever. It's an anime about an obssessive girlfriend (that didn't looked like a established relationship) with fanservice in a way to make you simp for the female lead in a predictable plot of unlucky MC getting saved. If this is enough for you to watch the same thing over and over fine, it isn't for me, period. |

| I mean, out of all the romance anime I have watched, and you can see what I watched from my anime list, I have actually never seen one like this where the female character is the one to protect the male character to such an extent where female = cool and male = wimp then combines the two to make a couple... just wow. Honestly, some people just prefer the comedy, I personally like to enjoy every aspect from romance to comedy to characters to everything else, like art and music quality. What gets more annoying is the character design on the female, it is one thing to portrait a female as "the protector" and the male as "the protected", you simply can't make the same female acting as if she is still the cutest girl in the world. I mean, this anime puts coolness and cuteness too close together, as if the writer could not make up his/her mind about how the girl should be, this is just nasty and confusing, in my opinion. If this kind of plot continues I can definitely imaging dropping it by the middle of ep2, sadly. Sure, people likes to look at different aspects of this anime, but I personally cannot enjoy it if things continue this way, sorry. |

| Chances of someone making a game version of that ED sequence before the season is over? I'm reminded of the Neptunia series of games, which usually have references to various games in their ED credits, but this one shows a more exciting looking game. |
| As a first episode it did its thing, I m fine with what the show is going for, you can indeed watch this anime solely for Shikimori, because she is enjoyable enough for that, but at the same time, you cant compare her to Marin. I would like to watch over time (now it is too soon), other characters getting some development, having things going for themselves, otherwise the show will never rise from just being an enjoyable watch, because I really doubt Shikimori has what it takes to take it further. Still, there is nothing wrong with just having a decent enjoyable thing to watch, but I doubt I will probably wait for the airing to finish to watch the rest. |

| Honestly, both Izumi and Shikimori are cute to me. ;o; I like the pink and purple aesthetic too. Actually, this whole anime has some pretty cutesy colors. Honestly, it feels like this whole anime kinda fits the tastes of a lot of modern girls I know-- the type who wants to be cute and cool simultaneously. The type that wants to protect and fight for something that's important to them. Admittedly, even I'm looking up to Shikimori a little. I think I kinda like this since I don't really see this a lot. Not my first time seeing this, but something about it feels nice and simple. I do like the other characters too! |

| Shikimori looking cool as always. The facial expressions were great and I liked it here. I do feel like this anime worked better as a manga but this was a nice first episode. The Op and Ed were great too. |

| I wasnt sure to watch it, and Idk why there's so many people on this one, but here I go, its kinda cool ! Basic, but I feel like its rare to see the main characters already in couple ep 1, plus it seems to be a really strong relationship, she loves him the way he is (and I appreciate this, important in life), same for him, with kinda 2 personalities, cute and badass ! We dont know why he's this unlucky, but thats the comic side of the story I guess, I still feel bad for him x) And the ending, looks like a mobile game where you have to protect senpai xD So I'll continue, its going to be a nice slife of life ^^ |

You are a hopeful one :) After EP1 I was thinking that the show is so horrible yet hyped, that there should be some kind of twist. That she is probably some kind of a guardian angel, android, or alien defending the guy due to some well-thought-out reason, a bit like some of the characters in Haruhi Suzumiya, but no. There is no real background and no real reason for their relationship. She saved him once, and he was thankful to her and was honest about feeling bad due to his bad luck, and for some reason that was enough for love at first sight. That's it. That is the length the author went to establish such an irrealistic relationship. It is pretty telling how well thought out the characters are, that we are talking about a manga with 12 volumes, 3 years in writing and its whole wiki has 17 lines about Izumi and 20 lines about Shikimori covering their personality, background, appearance, and description. My "favorite" part is Izumi's Personality topic with seven lines. It contains 2 actual personality traits (kindhearted, and insecure about his bad luck), 2 attributes (bad luck and good at housework) and everything other in his Personality topic is about why she loves Shikimori (because she is cute and cool, which is stressed out in the same manner in every fcking fifth sentence in the anime and in almost every paragraph in the wiki). Even its own wiki writes almost exclusively about external things, and how he is defined by his relationship with Shikimori, instead of actual internal traits or any characterization. Compared to Izumi, most underdeveloped, generic female love interests in harem shows feel like they have fcking Walter White level of characterization. So basically he's one big avatar self insert. Ugh, I might have to drop this faster than usual. |

So, think your cliché old fashioned strong male, demure female type romance, and then swap their roles. Granted, their actual personalities are more complex, and the author does a decent enough job fleshing it out into something more than just a gimmick. Now, I'm only speaking for the manga, I couldn't tell you what the fuck the anime is doing, it's a very poor adaptation so far. She has a family of really strong characters looking after her, so she basicaly finds someone who she can treat like her family threats her. She also like polite, kind people, like her grandma did. And she is an insecure, shy, posessive and jelous mess inside. Her "cool" look is really deemphasized as her serious focused face and the cool factor is not intentional by her. She feels way more organic in the manga. Her pictures are nice, but her personality is pretty messed up, unlike the perfect action angel they try to present in the manga. He is also much more likeable and the manga really does make them work out really well. My next gripe however is that despite being in a relationship for 1y+ by the volume 9, thes mf*s barely held hands, let alone kiss. They are what, 2year hs, 17-18? COME ON!!!JUST DO IT!!! What is this? Kindergarden? ...and I love it how their friends make the exact same comment :D |

| Love this episode, Murphy's law (anything that can go wrong will go wrong) is always been interesting to me, so seeing a character that's affected by Murphy law is bound to get me attention but it's so wholesome that Izumi has a girlfriend who is affected by Yhprum's law (anything that can go right will go right). This show reminds me of one of my favorite western cartoons Milo Murphy's Law if you're interested in western cartoons I'd honestly recommend it, it's made by the same people who made Phineas and Ferb which ironically are affected by Yhprum's Law. |

| Not a bad episode!!! I really liked the bowling part, and the ending was wholesome!!! I hope that there will be a lot more of these moments. Looking forward to watch the other episodes!!! |
