Franky is the one who actually has the blueprints!
His real name is, Cutty Flam an apprentice of Tom.
4/5 ep!
Next ep is gonna be utterly epic!
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
I have to say this episode is amazing, the way they insert Franky as a part of the story and everything its just too cool, sadly Kaku being a bad guy really makes me sad, and ppl like Paulie is never the enemy
Ahhh brilliant twist after another. I am so impressed! I never would've guessed it was Franky because I haven't seen him do anything carpentry-related. DAYUUUUUUM those robot stuff should've been obvious!!!!
I guess we're at the climax! all the secrets and hidden identity is revealed! ^_^ its a good thing paulie isn't one of the CP9, and i guess the straw hats learnt a lesson in Skypea arc to personal give directions to zoro! :-))))) Big LOL!
Franky, being an apprentice of a legendary shipwright must mean he can be a candidate for a nakama!!!!! and i got me thinking.. if kaku was the one who assessed going merry.. that maybe it was all a dud.. so the going merry can still be saved!!!
OT: Its good the other cutscreens of the straw hat characters during the midpoint break is finally being shown :-)
OH MY GOD AMAZING
franky was the last person on my mind as well.
i'm loving the CP9, it's really cool seeing kaku all cold/emotionless after my imagine of him being a smiling lego man.
and then the straw hats burst into the scene in unison - this is gonna be great.
Yeah I realized sanji's absence.. and It was a great episode, using his pulse was a good idea.
Behold of my awesomeness~
controversial and/or sensitive topics likely devolve into the same repetitive, derogatory, abusive, and harassing comments can no longer be posted.
But my feels.
damn another twist. Franky now has a legit reason to be tied to this plot.
and those cp9 guys are true professionals.
that interrogation scene was intense as fuck.
let's see what our straw hats will handle this now!
PS
WHERE THE FUCK IS SANJI

Better and better!!!!!
I am guessing Sanji is gonna make an entrance and save the situation...? Can't wait!
Ok seriously I have to stop watching episodes and go to sleep!!!
I know One Piece doesn't advertise itself as a mystery but is there really a need to make spoiler themed titles. Not that it was much of a mystery anyways, but when you put "Secret Bond! Iceberg and Franky!", it sort of gives it away, maybe stop after the "Secret Bond!" part.
Seriously though, I feel like the title "One Piece" is supremely appropriate right now because this is one piece of a puzzle that has indeed been very slowly and thoughtfully put together.
Holy cow.

“I love heroes, but I don't want to be one. Do you even know what a hero is!? For example, you have some meat. Pirates will feast on the meat, but the hero will distribute it among the people! I want to eat the meat!” - Monkey D. Luffy
This was an amazing episode. Aokiji’s introduction was truly the reintroduction to One Piece at its best and I love that.
I wonder if Paulie will fight Lucci. That would sure be emotional after him walking in on one of his close friends and learning that he was undercover the whole time and about to kill his shipwright dad. I really didn’t want Paulie to walk in there and see that… :(
Franky is quite the interesting character. He’s now revealed to be Tom’s second supposedly deceased disciple. I have to speculate that he was thought to be killed and was somehow revived in the form of a cyborg and that would explain his present form. Why he would stay in town however, especially with the blueprint has me confused. I wonder if he has some purpose here that we’ll find out later, one that involves him needing lots of money. He did go and spend 199 million after stealing it, it was something he’d been planning out. It’s the only reason I can imagine he would stay with the blueprints of an ancient weapon…
Zoro shows how overpowered he is by taking on an army of guys with the back of his swords. And then he gets lost when Nami tells him to follow her. LOL.
CP9 reminds me so much of Saint Seiya.
Even down to the conversation being had where Lucci revealed that the government will kill those in their way of keeping the peace. The response “How selfish! Justice cannot be a reason for killing” was saint seiya-esque in that it creates a moral argument and almost cheesily has both sides saying their arguments before a fight starts that will seemingly show which one is correct. But further than that, CP9 and the government’s plan reminds me so thoroughly of Arles from Saint Seiya! Being afraid of when the God’s try to fight and take everything for their own, Arles attempts to lie to the world and control it in a dictatorship, throwing it into chaos, out of fear that the God’s will take over the world and screw them all over. His goal is to become strong first by any means to prevent that when the day comes! It’s very similar to the government fearing the restoration of the ancient weapon so them deciding to take it for themselves. Both cases have the oppressive government or religion controlling the populous forcefully to gain the strength to maintain peace before it’s truly threatened by creating more injustices than they can count on the way. Iceberg in this scene reminded me of Athena, especially in the Sanctuary arcs last moments where she tells Arles “An evil world without peace that's run by power so that it won't be ruined is one that should be ruined.” Although it’s not the exact same, both are saying that the world will be worse once it’s driven into a war for power than it would be otherwise and that the means of gaining power first to prevent a greater evil will only cause something worse than that greater evil in the present.
CP9’s plan reveals to us that, although the morality may not be perfectly gray, these seem to be the best villains OP has seen! They are, in their eyes, taking the lesser evil to prevent a greater evil. It’s not possible to say they’re outright wrong and that’s magical. They’re fighting for something that very well may be the best course of action and only time will tell. Since this is an anime it’s easier to create a nicer, less violent solution but the spirit is there. The best kind of villains are often formed on this basis.
Robins ties to CP9 are still confusing. I wonder if the Ohara devils were people trained from birth to work under the government's secret service or something. If so it would make sense that when she escaped at 8 the government put out wanted posters looking for her a she’s the only one who can read poneglyphs and thus the only one to be able to restore the ancient weapon.
Also, Kokoro seems to be a big character in this. Not only was it that she knew CP9 was involved instead of the Straw Hats, she also was close with Iceberg and Cutty Flam and potentially this Tom. She started drinking when she thought Franky died.
I love the back and forth of the plans on both sides. Iceberg was almost ahead of CP9 despite them infiltrating to spy on him for five years, but off one single slip up they figured out where the real blue prints are!
I can’t imagine they’ll win this fight, I also think Robin did tell them what was up as a call for help so I’m interested in where this will go.
I thought that Iceberg and Franky were brothers but being the only two disciples of the Legendary Shipwright Tom was close enough~ I didn't expect him to hold such critical knowledge of something as important as Pluton but that means that Franky shouldn't be underestimated in more ways than one now.
The Straw Hats have met up with CP9! It's time to get Robin back. I wonder where Sanji is though.
Franky doesn't have the look of someone who can be entrusted with such crucial as the blueprint of the Pluton Ancient Weapon! Then again! The government only knew that it was only Iceberg, as Tom's remaining disciple that had survived. So it would be prudent to hand over the blueprint to Franky instead of keeping it to himself.
She got him back. If you understand the characters well enough, you'd know she did!
The title ruined this ep, so I'm not surprised about Franky and Iceberg... Since the Strawhats crew needs a shipwright, maybe Franky can join? Either Franky or Paulie.
I had feeling franky and iceberg could be connected. The blue hair and iceberg letting franky do his own thing. I think their an outside chance franky could be the one to join the crew. Maybe him and Usopp come to save the day.
Anyway finally get the Robin confrontation with Luffy and the crew. Assume there going to be some fights. Not including Robin there 4 assassins and 4 straw hats. Also were is sanji? Still think he going to show up and save the day at some point. The ace in the hole
