| It hasn't happened yet, all anime I dislike I truly believe that they're not good at all. However, it happens when we're talking about cinema, I don't like Tarantino's movie (mostly), but I know he's a great director and writer. |

| I would say for example animes treating sports that i'm interested in like one outs, i think it's a good anime but i don't like baseball, i can also think of anime treating a sport that i know well in a poor way (or in a non realistic way) like Kuroko no basket, thoug i still think it's a decent anime. |

| Below are all highly acclaimed anime and I personally believe that they deserve the praise that they get. I'll just list the reasons why I didn't dig it as much as most others. <3 Death Note - really thought the 2nd half detracted from the show Re:Zero - snooze fest Evangelion - ok I actually think this one is kind of shit actually, sorry nge fans Oregairu - annoyingly insufferable characters Slime Isekai - no stakes, too happy go lucky, dropped Beastars - furries To Your Eternity - snooze fest after the first arc Perfect Blue - weirdly uncomfortable and uncomfortably weird Spirited Away - just weird K-on! - annoying Kokoro Connect - kids who think they're cool Parasyte - so many moving parts but didn't come together nicely. also failed to follow chekov's gun Re:Creators - felt stretched out 86 (part 1) - snooze fest Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song - messy script Monster -dropped this one actually, just wasn't in the mood for something with a gray tone, physically and metaphorically speaking Psycho-Pass - meh ending Death Parade - should've stayed 99% episodic with just %1 of something to tie it all off in the end. Wanted it to focus entirely on the human characters rather than start to delve into the humanity or whatever of the god characters Land of the Lustrous - idk actually, just wasn't feeling it A Place Further than the Universe - was just personally expecting more punches to the gut after hearing how this apparently got a lot of people in the feels. Same goes for stuff like Anohana and Your LIe in April as well <3 I still enjoyed the anime listed above for the most part (except evangelion because fuck that shit yo), but only by a slim percentage, like 55% enjoyed 45% not enjoyed to put it roughly; which is definitely not as much as the majority of audiences who watched each particular anime. Just realized I put a lot on this list which I think were good but just didn't enjoy them as much as others. I'll put in bold the ones I have the strongest opinions on: The ones I think are REALLY good, but for me, are meh. |

| Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru seems really loved, but I simply can't handle ur average loner guy x best girl. It's too much wish fulfillment for me, even though the animation is beautiful, cosplay plot could be interesting, the mc actually has a character and the girl is a gyaru(yes I have a thing for gyaru). Yet I still treat it as ur usual "teasing genre" and drop it. |
| To me, Elfen Lied was trash... but I never, ever found it boring, which can't be said for some of the anime I liked better! So it's good in that sense. I can understand why some people like it so much. |

| Generally shows that are considered good but are from genres that I don't like or shows with to many symbolisms (like Utena, I understand why it's loved, but it was just a good show for me). |

| I'm not going to call an anime that I didn't like to be good. I might say it's not for me, but I won't be calling it good. Probably the only exception to this is anything tagged with "shounen-ai". |

| Serial Experiments Lain. Like, I get what it was trying to go for, and I can agree that it did it well. Its themes and subject matter were ahead of its time, it had a pretty unique atmosphere and I can't think of any real glaring flaws... but I just found it so dull to sit through. By the time it was over, I just wanted to move on to something else immediately and not bother to reflect on it or try to glean any deeper meaning out of it or anything. |

| Most of them are because I didn't enjoy watching them, but I don't think I could say anything atrociously bad about any of these (well... maybe for a couple of them I could). • Berserk, not sure about this one, I know is good and I admit it has a great story, I suppose it is just not for me. • Cowboy Bebop, I enjoyed most of the last episodes and I love the movie. The thing is... some episodic animes tend to bore me, so that's on me. • Devilman: Crybaby (cuz is the only one I saw), I was just soooooo bored while watching it, but overall the story is not bad. • Hellsing (both), I know is it supposedly good, but it just bored me so much. • Odd Taxi, not for me, none of the plot twists really surprised me, though I will admit that the story, art and characters are good. • Zankyou no Terror, I have to rewatch this since I watched it when I was a lot younger, but I remember it being uninteresting and boring for me. |
