I would absoutely love to visit Japan many, many, many times.

However, I absoutely love my country and am very proud to say I live here.
Buutttt, if this digusting health care bill does go into effect, I will be moving out of the USA.

New to MyAnimeList, say hello to me! :)

I'm going to be in Nagano for a year, then I'll be back to the states. After I graduate though, I'll probably go teach somewhere over there for a year, then go back to school for a masters.

I've visited Japan a few times before, and would love to do so again. I wouldn't mind living there for a while, but Germany is my lovely special place so I would always have to go back.

My uncle is a English teacher in Japan :D (by the way hes from Chicago)

I wish I was born there but since I barely know any Japanese I would rather visit and maybe if I got better, possibly live.

I actually quite like the way society works in Japan, both how everyone expects so much of everyone and how they seem to really be able to enjoy themselves on their free time.

So moving there, yeah. I'm taking an electronics education, too, so I'm feeling quite positive about my future.

Visit :)

Because it would be an extremely interesting culture to experience! And just imagine all of the merchandise~♥♥♥ :D

America is first though, and more daunting. It is huuuge! Several times more people in one state than in this entire country D:

All towards the land of cute girls with big eyes and short skirts! :p

In all seriousness, I've never set a foot in Japan in my life, so it would be interesting to first check it out.

If my current (delusion?) of Japan happens to apply in real life, then I would probably move there to live the rest of my life in otaku bliss without a second thought *V*

I'd like to just visit every once and a while. I like the US for a lot of stuff. Mostly music festivals. But if I moved to Japan, I'm sure I'll find some awesome fests to go to. I just dunno if I'd survive in Japan.

It'd be cool to learn the language, though. :)

I would like to actually visit Japan.I have been to Japan before but it was a flight transfer from Korea to the USA. So the only thing I got to do in Japan was eat some curry at the airport, smoke a cigarette or two and wonder around for a little while before catching a 12 hour flight back to the USA.

I'd rather just visit.

It would be awesome to live there if I only lived for anime and manga, but since I don't, I want to live in a country which culture is more like mine.

I would love to visit Japan as it is one of the most unique countries on the planet, with many things to do and experience that you just can not find anywhere else in the world. However, I don't think I would like to live there considering how Japan is still very closed off to foreigners, and I know some of the Japanese population would rather have nothing to do with anyone but fellow Japanese people. Ninety five percent of Japan's population is pure Japanese, and so I would be the minority by far and would fear not fitting in. I assume it would be difficult to live there without knowing a fair amount of the language as well. I think I would probably feel very isolated and alone if I went to live in Japan.

I'd like to visit for an extended period of time. I've always been interested in other cultures, and how other folks live their lives. I equally would like to spend time in Italy, England, Ireland, France, and Iceland. But I think Japan is in it's own catagory, very interesting people and lifestyle.
Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed - Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, 'It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.'

I don't want to go to Japan, because I cannot speak their language so what would be the point? I am not really a fan of Japan as a country anyways, I enjoy some of the Animu from Japan but that is about it.

Sure, I wouldn't mind going to Japan. But, since I have no knowledge of Japanese whatsoever it'd be limited to a visit. Plus I kinda like life here in the US anyway, yet if I knew the language moving there is something I might consider.

I want to visit Japan's tourist spots. Also, I want to go to an Anime Company or something, but I don't want to move to Japan because I heard that they're really racist against neighbor asians, but if you're white then you're very welcome to stay there.

I want to visit Japan but I would never move there. While I would enjoy the culture, it would be very difficult making a living there. More importantly, life here in the States is pretty good and it would be hard leaving my friends and family for Japan.

I'm Italian, I'm graduated at Venice University in Japanese language and culture and I'd like to try to live in Japan, but it's quite difficult for me because to mantain myself I should find a work there before to move and without connection with anybody is not so easy to find work via internet. Now I'm alredy 28 and I'd like to try it before I grow too old.
By the way, If you have any suggestion I'd appreciate it.

You can try a position for Italian language teacher, it seems quite the desired language to learn anywhere in the world. In any case, here's a website for you: http://forum.gaijinpot.com/

I'd like to visit there, but in the same way as i'd love to visit many other countries around the world.

Moving to a country where i don't speak the language doesn't appeal to me. Actually, moving out of the country to ANYWHERE else doesn't appeal to me.
