Decided to start this for the fact the protagonist is voiced by Yui Ishikawa.

So two people were brought into the fantasy world to be saints (Sei the protagonist and that other girl), reminds me of Fushigi Yuugi, will the two saints become rivals? The other girl has her own prince/knight, but they're all from the same kingdom, right?

More aptitude for magic than the other researchers, a few of Sei's potions healed her potential knight.

Novels I have read/am reading pending approval: since November 10 2022

Seems VERY generic so far, but not everybody being a child for once already makes this mildly more interesting, I just hope it'll manage to blossom into something worthwhile,
those closeup smiles kinda creep me out tho.

ENGLISH: The show is another isekai that will apparently stand out in the Season. Sei is a girl who can be the Holy Saint of the kingdom of Salutania, who can save the people from a miasma. Diomedea is the studio of this new project, I hope it doesn't disappoint this time...

Another Syosetu Isekai work, that's a surprise given Mushoku Tensei's popularity from the start of this year (not to mention Re:Zero and TenSura).

The stereotypical Isekai reincarnation story, but 2 people instead of 1: the usual hero (which is deemed a Saint)...and there's 20-year-old Takanashi Sei, who wants nothing out of the typical cliche of the "Holy Saint" name, and only wanting to live a recluse of a life like Isekai Bookworm's Myne of making medicine for potions and research.

It's been 2 years ever since Diomedea ever made a show, though this is plentiful enough for a start. And also, female Isekai protagonists are a rarity.

Hopoing to see more of this, Sei will change the fantasy world through medicine...but she has a lot to learn.

not reincarnation story but summoned story, but mostly correct

Sei is what Violet Evergarden would have been if she was raised well in a nuclear family instead of participating in a war similar to World War I as a 'tool'

ahh yes an isekai overpowered main character that uses their powers to heal. Might stick this one out since it isn't overly focused on a reverse harem from the start.

i decided to give this a shot because i have the light novel sitting on my shelf and i needed motivation to read it, but the pacing of this first episode wasn't to my taste. everything was moving so fast and it felt like nothing had time to sink in or be impactful... definitely think it would benefit from a lot more exposition.
but im not dropping this yet! i love josei/shoujo isekai webcomics and manga, it's my biggest guilty pleasure... so i will root for this to get better lol.
the dub is also very... meh... no one is very annoying or grating but its not good either, so i'll switch to sub later if it becomes something i enjoy more.
i suppose i did fulfill my purpose of motivating myself to read the LN, because i need to know if it's just the adaptation that made me dislike this (๑•̆૩•̆)

I couldn't even finish the first episode. Amongst the problems found in the first 10 minutes, and i will take actually good isekai to compare ('Juuni Kokuki' and 'Honzuki Gekokujou')...:

-Everyone speaks japanese, no explanation. Good Isekai always adress this language problem. Not this one.

-The story starts with a lore dump. While not long enough to be annoying, it actually defeats the purpose of discovering a new world. Again, good Isekai adress this masterfully but making the reader/viewer learn about this world as the same time the MC does, but exploring and experimenting, and questioning. Not this one.

-Sei hardly ever asks how to go back home... Maybe she has nothing left? When you start such an isekai, it is vital to show what the MC had to leave behind in order to understand what she has to gain in this world. This anime can't understand that much, and we are completely left without the most basic roadmap. The consequence is that i can't give a damn about her new life, for i have no idea what her old one was like, aside from the fact she had a job and was single, which is nothing much considering that this is how live most women aged between 22 and 29 in Japan.

-Sei is rightfully annoyed by this egoist summon, but 2 minutes into the anime, she has already come to terms with her situation. She never suffer from losing everything she knew to be forced to start anew in a new world. She is never at a loss to grasp her unfamiliar surroundings and the people there. She never needs to adapt or learn how this world works...And this is obvious because...

-...This world is simply another Japan. The only thing that changes is the aesthetics, which are european, again. As if to Japanese author, Europe was ultra exotic and they only needed to put some european architecture in their LN to have an exotic isekai... Except no... as a european myself, this only makes the whole stuff even more anti-isekai. Still, on top of speaking japanese, they understand bowing, use all the pre-made japanese sentences, like "ojamashimasu", and act like japanese in every last way. At this point, i want to say: 'if you are going to do that, don't bother with the isekai genre'. This is dreadfully bad in and by itself, but even more so for an isekai. Again, good isekai like 'Juuni Kokuki' and 'Honzuki Gekokujou' place culture shocks at the very center of the story as should be, and the impact of all this on the MC is actually one of the primary way to move the story forward, since it nurtures tremendously character's growth. Not with this one.

-Everything that happens is out of place in one way or another. Even during the first 10 minutes of episode 1, the plot contrivances are everywhere. No situation or character reaction feel natural to me, and the story develops sluggishly from one forced situation to another.

Conclusion: i can't handle more than 10 minutes. I already know what follows, since i have seen this kind of problems many times and it always leads to the same annoyances.

Damn, I could actually feel MC's annoyance when she wanted lo leave the place, rather than regularly isekai'd, felt more like she was kidnapped, and then her kidnapper didn't even pay her attention afterwards lol, but I actually liked that pretty much every single person she interacted with other than that Kyle guy was nice, and to be fair, he didn't quite act rude on purpose either, he was expecting just one girl after all.

Finally starting this because Season 2 is coming out on Fall 2023.
I need to catch up as soon as posibble.

Damn she is so Workaholic, even in Isekai she want to work as well. lol
definitely a Japanese thing.

But Yui Ishikawa alone is one of the reason why i want to watch this Anime, and i took a little peak on the VA, they got many popular VA's on this anime.
