| It's a common trope in anime and manga. But it's very hard to find a real bad person even in real world, everyone has their reasoning and history. Those don't justify their actions though. |

| I've just remembered that wolf guy from Inuyasha. He kidnaps or tries to kill main characters, his gang wipes out and eats whole villages just for fun and for food, they even murder a little girl for fun. And after some events he just easily gets forgiven and even becomes an episodical sidekick. He never repents, he never gets punished for his crimes. He is just being accepted because the main heroine said "wait, he is not that bad". That's all. Another Takahashi Rumiko's work, Ranma, has the same bullshit several times, but at least it's just a frivolous comedy and can be forgiven. |

As much as I enjoy Rumiko's work, she's pretty bad at writing anything long that isn't a frivolous comedy. |
