| Since I finished playing Zestiria almost a year ago, I thought it would be a good idea to just play Berseria after the anime ended so I could restart the series fresh, and because of that I've been holding off since the game came out, little did I know that this adaptation's second season would have absolutly nothing to do with the actual story of Zestiria and would be spoiling the shit out of Berseria, wtf... I'm completly hating it. I would be dropping this anime if it was not nearly over Ufotable still being great with their fight scenes, though. I give it that at least. |

| NOrmins, humans go to the battle, and when is begin to start, all they are outside!!! ridiculous another!!! The characters are for using, not for play how dolls!!! :( Dezel died!!! | Excellent episode as always Its Dezel decided to sacrifice himself to allow Sorey and the others to break through Poor Rose though but the stakes are far too high i guess. After last weeks revelation that all the seraphs in the north were corrupted into dragons this week would be a hard fight. Plus the fact the lord of calamity sacrificed his aide to turn her into a dragon as well. Good thing that Dezel and Rose are ok in that they only fainted from exhaustion. But man that was a hard battle. I hope that Rose manages to pull through though. Its perhaps unsurprising that Dezel wants to borrow the dragon killing gun to kill the dragons though. Purifying both the dragons and catching up to the Lord of calamity will be impossible plus even purifying one will exhaust Sorey and the party. Though both Zeveid and Dezel believe in Sorey's power the stakes now are far too high though. Perhaps killing the dragons is better than purifying them. Dezel seems to be determined to want to borrow Zeveids gun and try and kill the dragons with it in order to protect Rose from any more suffering. I guess Symonne's words and his observations of seeing Rose fight with Sorey and the others really have changed him. Its nice that Dazel at last cares for Rose. Fighting in order to create an ideal world devoid of malevolence though is a great goal and something that Rose would want as well. So the cast finally encounters Lunarre then eh. The cast finally reach the land of ice and snow then after a long and difficult journey. Hmm the town may be empty of humans but not of normins it seems. Grimorire looks to be a pretty wise one judging by the hat though. Its nice that the other normins got the chance to see Grimoire though. Hmm so the earthpulse point that the cast are heading too is one of the temples of the highest ranked Seraphs in the land the five lords and the Innominat eh. I wonder what happened to them. If no hatred had been born in Crowe then perhaps malevolence will not have been born in the world. Once war starts right and wrong becomes irrelevant. Its nice that this series prompts these difficult questions though. Sorey's determination to stop this cycle of hatred and war that is caused by this malevolence sure is admirable. Lailah's advice and comments are as wise as always. Grimoire seems to be pretty wise as well and it looks like she has the respect of the normins as well. For normal people the though of there being hellions and Malevolence can be pretty hard to believe. Though the rivalry between Sergei of the military and the guy from the church is as funny as ever. Its good that Rose is able to regain consciousness though after being healed by Sorey. Its funny but at the same time interesting seeing Dezel and Zeveid wonder about why and Seraphim are born. So they came as a result of the wishes of humans to provide them with protection and maintain the balance within the world. Yet even with this duty what was the reason they were born for i wonder. Lol Edna coming in and admonishing them her usual way. Purifying the lord of malevolence will not be easy though especially after seeing all those seraphs that had been turned to dragons. Such is the scale of his power that it makes that fight with the dragon look like a cakewalk instead. Lol discussion whether to leave Rose shouldn't be said when she's awake and can hear you lol. Lol Rose's angry face and Dezels reaction on seeing it. Still it was nice to see Dezel actually worry about Rose enough in that he wanted to take that step. Man a red moon. Thats a clear bad omen for any normal situation i guess but for Sorey and the cast it means the time for the final battle is upon them. It makes sense that they would have to leave the human contingent behind though but at least they managed to get Sorey and co to this location though. Damm so their first trial is to deal with a host of dragons eh. Its time for the final battle to begin. Its nice that in the end Dezel didn't have to kill the dragons with that gun. Since doing so would go against everything Sorey and the others have fought so hard for. Still even with each of the seraphs lending all of their power to Sorey purifying all the dragons will be hard work. The relationship between Rose and Dezel is interesting though. Its like Dezel is always challenging Rose to do something when they are transformed thus making Rose fight harder to not appear to be weak lol. What a sight to be surrounded by a host of dragons though. Hmm so Dezel sacrificed himself and used every bit of his power to get Sorey and co through the dragons. Its nice that before the end that Dezel was able to share a moment with Rose where he told her his last words. Its nice that Rose wasn't angry with Dezel about his confession and was indeed grateful that Dezel had allowed her have such a dream and start her path to make it a reality though. Its sad that things had to end this way though. |

| soo just another totally necessary death. Did they need to erase some characters because its getting to expensive? but Hellion Fox guy (Lunarre) had a worse death. Nobody even noticed his sacrifice XD But after Dezel was told not to use the gun he was like: But how am I supposed to look important while suicide? I really hope they make a full Berseria Anime. Velvet is badass, also somewhat twisted good and evil storys are always better then ones like zestiria, where u have clear white and black. |

| So much references to Tales of Berseria. When I saw Velvet and Scarlett Night I stand up from sofa and start jumping around. Advice from Velvet was spoiler af. Good they show us that Dezel is blind. Very good episode compering to all. |

| San Dezel's done and first time we've seen his eyes! Rose cried too much, but it was alright to let it all out. Lord of Calamity huh! seems impossible because for sure final b0ss type would be OP even from an already OP MC... 4/5. |

How she has a fanbase boggles me Thank god for Eleanor Hume In fact the reason this trainwreck is bad is due to the cast being underwhelming in dynamic. With Berseria the group grows from a band of misfits to friends in a weird messed up way especially since they all are using each other for their own ends. | I just noticed that the episode count was raised from 12 to 13 for the 2nd season. Is that accurate? I must've missed the news. EDIT: LINK to that news from this site. https://myanimelist.net/news/50101118 They were rushing things like crazy and it hurt the Anime. I'm glad it was extended. I'm curious though... will episode 13 be a "conclusion" to what was left open in the game or will they just stretch out "the what was supposed to be episode 12"? The thirteenth and final episode will be air on Saturday, April 29 at 9:30 p.m, while the twelfth episode will broadcast as scheduled on Sunday, March 26 at 11:00 p.m |

| I wonder what it was like being one of the normal people that accompanied the Shepard. You sitting in the back looking at Sorey and the princess freak out over nothing. Just a bunch of strong wind and snow. Sure it would be dangerous to be separated from the group, but the party moves slow enough to keep up. Then all of a sudden, Sorey tells everyone to leave and that we got this. You're ready for battle and said your goodbyes. Granted Sorey knows they would be in the way and more than likely would die than make much of a difference. I'd imagine Soldier A would be kind of miffed that was just all they could do for them. |

| Not too sure how I feel about what just happened. Sorey didn't want to kill the dragons, but Dezel sacrificing himself to save them makes it okay? I mean I understand that Sorey didn't expect that, but still.. what else were you planning on happening? Nonetheless, Dezel's final scene was quite sad.. almost shed a tear haha whyyy did he have to goo :CC |

| Soray and his "don't kill anyone" caused Dezal to have to sacrifice himself in order to get past the dragon hoard. That's on him. I guess it's worth it for a friend to die, as long as you don't have to do any of the killing yourself, eh? In many ways he's a hypocrite, because he is totally willing to kill his friends for his ideals. That makes me not like him much as a hero. |
