| The OG japanese hiphop scene man, it's something else and I live for it haha. Shing02, Uyama Hiroto, Nujabes, Meiso, kenichiro nishihara, nomak, Home Made Kazoku you get the idea lol. Can't chose a song cus theres too many I love but i'll try. Really been trying to expand my horizons and have been listening to rock in particular. Really like Sabomaster, Going Steady, gagagaSP, NakamuraEmi (not really rock but I love her lol). Recently just found this song, and it's been stuck in my head for the longest time, idk if its anime related, but its damn good. |

| What is anime-affiliated? If an artist created the opening/ending music for one show, is every song of theirs now "anime-affiliated" by virtue of the artist themself being involved with the creation of anime at one point? To go even further, is an artist who made collabs with another artist who made anime music too anime-affiliated, as they were affiliated with someone affiliated with anime, which would make all the artist acquaintences of the second-hand affiliated person affiliated as well and so on? And lastly, is the magnitude of affiliation always intense enough that any given nth-hand affiliated person render their acquaintences (n+1)th-hand affiliated? Ergo, there does not exist a song such that it has no connection to anime. I rest my case, ladies and gentlemen. |

| King gnu is solid I found their music super fun to listen too. I think any Utaite can be great to listen too, they helped me find other artists because they cover them frequently; that's how I found ミテイノハナシ / Aru. I just can't seem to pin down my favorite song, but I was just listening to Drown Into the Night by Aru. |

You wrote Anime LOL because there are enough songs also related to live-action shows and movies from Aime and BUMP OF CHICKEN for example ;-) Japanese music that is NOT to related to any show or movie: Music by DJ Okawari e.g. Flower Dance 泉まくら and her album "As Usual" especially "This Night" Not sure if this counts since the original is after all by Jóhann Jóhannsson but Ryuichi Sakamoto reworked it and I love it: Jói & Karen (Ryuichi Sakamoto Rework) Yosi Horikawa's Bubbles is sooo cool when you have good high-def head phones. So much fun. |
