| Episode that focuses more on the characters and their character, rather than on pallavolo.Non that I mind, basically narrative is better to show the evolution of the characters rather than see a game. Very beautiful drawings, I like. |

| The characters and dynamics are so reminiscent of KnB. Even the first practice match against a high ranked team. I want to see how this show differentiates itself. Even the character personalities seem to be taken out of the same grab bag. Not that I don't like it, but most of my friends think this show is a cut above KnB. I guess I'll have to wait and see :) |

| Hinata's sister was far too cute to only be in the anime for practically one frame. Seeing her got me thinking about how little we know about Kageyama and Hinata's families. Both seem absent in their lives. I wonder if we'll see them more. It was a nice brief look into the sister this episode at least. Tsukki got beat and is still acting like his favorite obnoxious shounen villain. At least we saw Hinata and Kageyama form a closer bond in game and out from that match. The way they casually talk to each other now is awesome and I have to give Tsukki some credit for giving them a common enemy. I'm also glad Tsukki didn't change character into a nice dude after the game. He's still a no good bully. I think the fact that Tanaka and Hinata are such a pure form of childish attitude is what makes them good friends already. The way the two ran yelling to tell Suga that Daichi was buying them meat buns was what got me thinking about this. The guy in that store will also join them later down the line as we can tell from the opening. The club room scene was funny. Tanaka leaving without pants. Hinata going from absolute joy to anxious misery in seconds. Kageyama not realizing he gives 'wisecracks' literally all the time, again showing he's adorably not self aware and dweeb-like. It was a good one. The comparison of Hinata and Kageyama stretched to their anxieties. Again it's for different reason on the surface, but it stopped both from sleeping. However I think both's fear boils down to not being able to stay on the court. Hinata's that we've now seen for a second time, the first being in his match against Kageyama, around his excitement catching up to him and his fear of not doing well enough to stay on the court once he finally has a chance to play. And Kageyama's shame in regards to mistreating his team to the degree they walked out on him leaving him out of the game that still leaks out of him in many moments. I suppose it's easy to put full trust in someone who has just as much of a passion for the game as you do. :) Another good episode. |

| Wonder what that guy mean why he said Kageyama is "goody two-shoes"... Maybe Kageyama's playstyle is just too fundamentals.. That aside, nothing much this episodes, maybe there will be flashback to when Hinata asks Ushiwaka? Hype moment incoming. |

| So all of them are in team!!! This is good that everyone got chance but still teaming up is left. Also the duo has become kind of friendly. That is good. Hinata's brain is messed up. Hope he can keep up in the first match. Though, I think that they won't be able to win this as the teaming up isn't done yet. |

| felt the pace was kinda off, that there was too much plot not moving. but at the end the simple setting and the characters really makes this anime work in refreshing way. other think little bothering me is first years taking too much rule in this full senpai players. kinda remind me kuroko no basket. but compare to that anime, there's no super powers or something lol. hayikuu was pretty realistic till now. |
