| Great episode! Shirogane stepping in for Iino-chan was easily the coolest moment of the episode. She's had a rough upbringing but it's nice that she's accompanied by a wonderful friend, at least. Kaguya's presentation was just flawless though, I've to say. Waking up everyone first and then grinding down on the numbers, that's a very well-thought idea. Making "puppets" in the background does dampen it a bit, but that's Kaguya-sama for you xD. Certainly makes sense why she'd end up with a bad tummy, lol. Hayasaka stealthy moves took a notch this episode with two close calls, but of course the unpredictable Chika would be the harder opponent in this regard. People finally appreciating Iino-chan and Shirogane going as far as to offering a place in Council were really to see, too. Despite what Kaguya said, I'm sure this just made him look even more appealing in reality. Dat "OK" carries a punch, you bet. It's a long road ahead for this Council but I can't wait to see how it'll do! |

| So here is the deal. I love all of our main characters. I never really questioned who was the best character in this anime because they are all equally awesome. However after this episode, it is clear as day that ISHIGAMI IS THE BEST CHARACTER IN THIS ANIME. I thought he was going to have bad intentions towards Miko but he was looking out for her due to his own past experiences being bullied and such. FUCK my man is the best! Also i see a lot of love for Shirogane as well for being the one who helped Miko. Huge love for Shirogane as well. Kaguya being super cute at the end as well. God im so happy the gangs back!!! Great episode! |

| Another good episode, this time again with the mix of serious element and reality check, My favorite part of this series. You can stick to morales, ethics and be a text book personality, but without confidence,proper communication, expression & belief in yourself and most importantly experience in the real world you wont be able to cope up with it and survive. That was very well portrayed and shown as the difference between miko and Kaguya. Miko is a sweet girl, smart brains but with kind a bit of a unrealistic perspective on life especially with her sense of justice approach, dont blame her given her lonely childhood and lack of personal experience. I mean when she got on the stage with the nervous breakdown, i could personally relate to her it sucks and really can just destroy you from within with people watching, mocking & passing judgement on you Thats why she needs people like our student council to devlelop and guide her, which is lucky because some are not fortunate to get people like that in their life. Glad she is finally part of the crew now. Miko's friend Kobachi is another hidden gem of a girl, supporting miko from childhood & watching over her, really like a lifeline. Thats top notch best friend material. Shirogane proved himself as the MC again with the save for miko, valuing his friends/fellow council members and recruiting them back, most importantly with his special treatment for kaguya putting her heart at ease which was adorable. Hayasaka showing best girl qualities as usual and i am surprised how agile & fast she is with her disappearing skills xD Finally my praise for our best Boy and Unsung Hero Ishigami, he just wins hearts in the most quiet but amazing ways.  Also congrats to our Golden crew for winning, they are back together where they belong with a new interesting member :3 |

| Yet another week of Aniplex missing words and other basic errors. "This is the result of fair and square fight" - Missing the word "a" before "fair". Episode was pretty solid but needed more comedic balance. I do love Iino Miko. she's so adorable |

| So we got past the election arc. Even though Miko lost the election, she has gained new supporters and a spot on the student council. Bakaguya throwing a temper tantrum in the infirmary was cute and hilarious. |

| Miko's breakthrough was wonderful, as she finally captivated the audience. Yeah, that one shining moment... Very deep and thoughtful episode with a funny sprinkle of Kaguya's worries. |

| Probably my fav episode of the anime so far alongside ep 4 of this season. Been waiting to see how the anime would handle this episode since the anime first got announced, feels so good to see them just go all out on the framing, really love the use of the cropped borders in miko's past and how they portrayed the fear of being alone on stage in front of a crowd. I will say it did feel like this was treated more seriously than in the manga, not a bad thing it just felt a bit weird and i guess alot of it comes down to how much pacing of an anime + music can go a long way to change the tone. This was an arc i was really meh on in the manga the first time i went through it, I guess cause it was much less obvious Miko was gonna join the main cast where as here the op and ed say it outright, so when reading it I kind of glanced over it. Re-reading it let me appreciate it so much more especially with how much of a chad Shirogane is. Probably my favorite moment of his save for a big one not coming this season. I also think me re-reading it was what made me start to like Miko alot more cause i was pretty ehhh to negative on her initially though I think people will need to test some patience on her dynamic with a certain character, theres more to it than meets the eye so try not to judge too quickly. | I really liked the serious tone of this episode. Miko's backstory sets up her character very well even though it was really sad the way she grew up but those experiences she will be getting now that she is gonna be a part of the student council and she now has many new friends. Everybody had their part in this episode including Ishigami but especially Miyuki. That might have been my favorite moment I have seen from him so far. The part where Chika and Ishigami wanted to know from Miyuki if they were gonna be a part of the student council was pretty funny. This series just continues to get better every episode and the second season is definitely better than the first. I can say with certainty that this was my favorite episode of the series and I look forward to this series probably the most on Saturdays. We are halfway through the season and I can't wait till next week for Season 2, Episode 7 of Kaguya-sama! |

| An amazing episode, they sacrificed the pacing of the last episode to set up this episode and it was well worth it. The election arc itself isn't that great but it is necessary to set up Iino and Ishigami relationshio. I also like how it set up the climax of the eventual 3rd season and our favorite arc. |

| Great episode, and once again I want to slap the incompetent translation. What the hell is wrong with them? Why can't they hire at least a second-tier fansub translator instead of this mess? Example: Kaguya is having her rant in the infirmary bed, comparing herself to a wife having her husband (Shirogane) gamble her hard-earned money away, before she freaks "AND WHO IS CALLING ME A WIFE??" (well duh, she did). It had nothing to do with Shirogane calling her that. These extremely basic translation mistakes really REALLY affect my enjoyment of this otherwise epic conversion. |

As someone with a fear of public speaking, I know that you can't just magically start talking like a natural-born leader after someone belittles you. It may even shatter your pride even more. Still, nice episode. I'll let that detail slide since this is not a slice-of-life thus it doesn't need to be that realistic. 4/5 for the episode. On a side note, I wonder how Miko's hair works lol |

| This is the reason why Kaguya is so obsessive toward Prez. Prez is too powerful, so powerful he literally helps his enemies while winning the battle. Also, "I WANT TO MAKE MAKO IINO SMILE" after the election... PROTECC TEH SMILE. (approved by Ishigami) (tho... Kaguya pretty much "rigged" the entire election... LUL) |

 How?! How do you not fall for someone like him?! How can you blame Kaguya for falling head over heels in love with this man amongst men?! Oh, God! I love this guy! Remember his name. He is Shirogane Miyuki. And he will make you smile no matter who you are. And he will keep his promises. :) A bit sad though that the translations are not that good and then the anime didn't animate the heart eye. That was one of my favourite moments from this arc! |

| This episode was such an change in pace from the last one, taking Iino character development Iino into a more seriously note, but ended in such an wholesome way that i needed to give this season an 10/10. This has to be one of my favorite seasons of all animes |

Great job A1, 5/5, perfect rendition of the most serious chapter/arc in the manga so far. I really like Miko VA in this episode, from the stage fright scene, to the sad flashback, and then going all out against Shirogane, solid delivery for every line. And best boi Hachim.. err, I mean, Ishigami, finally starts getting the recognition he deserves. |

One with such a severe fear (they implied that it got worse as she lost more elections, it was so severe that she couldn't even introduce herself properly) simply cannot take their eyes off the crowd and magically talk like she's presenting a TED talk because someone helped her by starting a discussion. The crowd's there and someone with such a severe fear is aware of that no matter what. Just sayin. But as I said it's okay, geez. It's not a SoL it doesn't need to be perfectly accurate or anything. |

| That was a very serious first half of the episode! That election day was pretty spicy! I do feel bad for Miko at the start for not being able to say what she wanted to say, but Miyuki did great to step up and help her with getting the words out of her mouth by making her focus on him instead, even if it almost made him lose the election for student council president! 320 to 280 votes is pretty darn close!! Hayasaka keeps impressing me this season, this girl is getting the screentime she deserves and it never fails to deliver with her around!! Always so supportive towards Kaguya! I want to rest my face there as well... When Hayasaka was sitting next to her in the infirmary, I loved the bit where the sound went up and down with the movement of Hayasaka's fingers, had me cracking up! Also the girl is as quick as an assassin.. First pushing Kaguya away when Chika got near and then in the infirmary when Miyuki walked in! Eventho Miko lost the election battle, her hard work was recognized by Miyuki and she's joining the student council!! Great stuff!! |

| Ok, hear me out. Kaguya-sama already had a big place in my heart thanks to the manga. The first episodes really hit me hard, but then I found myself wondering wether this was actually that good or if I was just riding on the hype train. So I rewatched some of season one, in order to compare the quality; also, note that I don't usually get that emotional about a story in which I already know what will happen because I've read ahead in the manga. Thus, let me just say it right now, I've made up my mind. I FUCKING LOVE THIS SHOW AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN SEASON 3. The quality here is amazing, fight me. Of course, like anything, it has its highs and lows based on personal preference, BUT BOI IS IT DAMN GOOD |
