| I watched it subbed. The dub didn't come out until a couple of years after I'd finished the series, since I followed the fansubs as it was airing in Japan. |

| Always subbed. I see many praises for the dub here and I find it surprising. There's a lot of humorous moments in Ouran that I don't think would ever carried over well to dub. I honestly expected it to be a cringe fest, but guess not? |

| Both -- subbed in 2006 more or less as it came out, and then dubbed in 2009 when I bought the DVDs. The dub director clearly liked and respected the material, and made it as faithful as possible without straying into overliteral "read the subtitle script verbatim" territory. Some honorifics like Senpai are retained. It helps that Ouran HSHC itself has enjoyed "evergreen" status, but when I screened the first four episodes dubbed at a convention a couple years ago (back when we could still have such things!), the room was packed, with no shortage of fans singing along to the OP. | I watched it dubbed. Ouran was one of my first 20 or so shows and I got into anime watching dubs so that's why. I definitely prefer subs now though |
| Ouran was actually the first "real anime" I ever watched about 11 years ago and I watched it dubbed. I have since rewatched the subbed version, which I much prefer. |

| I watched the dub during my first runthrough when I was younger, and really haven't tried the sub. I'm also the kind of guy who needs to watch a dub for shows, though, bc it's extremely difficult for me to watch subbed series due to audio processing bullshit :x |
