If you finish your ptw list, what will you do?

Let's say, hypothetically, you finish your plan to watch anime list. You've finished every anime you ever wanted to watch at the moment. What will you do next? Will you wait for new anime to air (which may take awhile, depending on the time when you finish your ptw list)? Will you rewatch some anime? Or will you focus more on your other hobbies?

Hypothetically, IF I do finish my plan to watch list (which won't be anytime soon. Maybe never), I would focus on my other hobbies: hip hop music production, and video games (the latter of which is already occupying my time).

I guess I'd just add more anime. Honestly, I can't see mine ever ending.

I've been holding back. Restraining myself from adding more to my plan to watch. I like to keep it around 100 so i have choice on what to watch.

I'd probably cry if I ran out because my main hobby would be gone and I'd be stuck with nothing to fantasize about again.

Though for real I'd just read all the manga and LN's on my shelf and the ones I want to buy and play all my VN's
My opinion is the correct opinion!
Though I’ll listen to you for now I guess baka
Who thought that getting a job would be a good idea when I have anime to watch

I would finally rewatch some animes without feeling anxious. Seriously, time to time I go through my PTW list and delete one or another to make the list smaller. Just can't.

I have been stalling a lot in watching my plan to watch list so I don't think it will ever end but if it did I would just re watch anime I already watched which I already do even with me having a big plan to watch list

My goal is to have a PTW list that is shorter than my completed list. But if I ever finish my PTW list (Which I doubt will ever happen) than I guess I'll just watch seasonal anime till I die.
“It is my perception that a true friend never relies on another's dream. A person with the potential to be my true friend must be able to find his reason for life without my help. And, he would have to put his heart and soul into protecting his dream. He would never hesitate to fight for his dream, even against me.”

If I have no more anime left to watch, then I'd try some drama from Japan or Korea or from somewhere around there.

I do actually want to get around to finishing as much as I can before I end up being really busy so I can only focus on seasonals really.

But if I do ever end up finishing all that I want to see, then I'll probably just rewatch some shows I liked over again and maybe focus on some other things here and there. Might also try out other forms of media (live action Japan/Korean/Western)

My ptw is mostly a list of the anime that I want to watch but don't expect myself to remember the names of, hence why it's a mere 100 anime long. If I do ever watch them all there's still plenty more anime I'd like to watch and every season new anime come out that appeal to me so I don't think I'll ever run out of anime to watch.

No plans no stress. And more freedom.

I still have the anime in mind I'd like to watch, it feels like I'll never run out of things to watch. But if I ever do, then it would mean I lost interest in the media altogether. I'll probably just focus on something else, like books or manga.

Depending on how I feel

-Replaying video games and computer games
-Dedicate more time to working out
-Watch more NBA
-Rewatch South Park in its entirety
-Catch up on any animated seasons and films that I've watched and enjoyed, but stopped because they continued to run
-Watch live action movies and shows that I have never watched that I'm willing to watch
-Reading up How to Manuals/Instructions
-Getting soundboard

If I still want to look at anime:

-Rewatch my 9s and 10s
-Rewatch shows that I felt simply should have another look because the timing of when I watched it might not have been a good time.
-Accomplish whatever achievements if I'm bored
-Other than my PTW, I have a spreadsheet of new franchise anime I've not sure of dedicating and I might go with that.

Can't wait for that time, I'll just do it like in the old days, meaning just going straight into old stuff like the 80s OVAs and watching seasonals. Also watching dumb stuff that I wasn't interested in the past.

I am the Arbiter of Absolute Truth, and here is my wisdom:

"Anime was always influenced by the West. This is not news.
Shoujo is the superior genre primarily aimed at young people.
Harem/isekai are lazy genres that refuse any meaningful innovation.
There is no 'Golden Age.' There will always be top-shelf anime.
You should be watching Carole & Tuesday."

If I end up having watched all of the anime I want to, I think I'd probably try travel. That much anime is a lotta time inside, so I'd want to stretch out at that point.

Hey maybe One Piece will have ended by then and I can start on that. Its inevitable 5,000 episodes should keep me occupied for a bit :)

I technically don't have any PTW anime anymore.
What I do ? Well, as long as I still play around in anime forum like this I still find new anime to watch when I want to find new anime to watch. No, I don't really care about seasonal stuff, I prefer finished anime.
The point is when I am bored and have nothing to do, I will try find an entertainment. When I want to watch anime as my choice of entertainment, I will try to find a recommendation and just watch them on the spot.

this question weirdly presupposes that everything you'd ever want to watch is already on your ptw list which is obviously never the case

Nothing that I dom't do already, I don't even watch the anime in my PTW list because starying new anime is just hard, due to lack of interest. I just think I watched so much anime I don't need more.

So in this situation I would/am looking after other hobbies.

@Keimo, I wish it was this way for me! I can't seem to find anything I'd like to put on my list. Granted I just started with anime seriously, but I'm getting itchy watching one show and waiting for the episodes to come out one at a time! :p

Lmao, I think I'll save that stuff as a last resort if I can't find another anime to watch. You know...for the "plot".

I don't know if I will ever truly finish my PTW list. Apart from adding seasonals every three months, I'd probably just keep searching for stuff to watch. Perhaps go back and watch some things that I wouldn't think I'd be curious enough to watch, seek out more older stuff. For the professional otaku, the career never truly ends. There's always something new or old to discover ^_^
