| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- And finally, after a long time O-Tama's rescue came to an end. I liked how nicely animated the fight between Law and Hawkins was even if it was as short as the manga, that's not a complain btw. Oh, and the added tension was nicely pased. The first minutes were stretched a little bit but that's expected. I laughted very hard at the Tama taming Speed scene. Speed is one of my favourite comic reliefs from Wano's Arc and the anime managed to improve this from the manga. Let's hope that the next things that will happen next don't suffer from such a terrible pacing. |

| I felt the dialogue was really awkward on this episode, oh well! Law grabbing Zoro like that, he wouldn't stand a chance against him. Also he looked hesitant, and Zoro isn't even flinching. How I wish they would really fight in future! What's up with that preview, damn more delays on this arc. |

| After today's episode I realized that if you made this arc into a drinking game, and took a shot every time Tama said "Aniki" to Luffy, you'd be dead. Also, a little disappointed, but not surprised, today's episode covered HALF of Chapter 918. When we get to the next episode in two weeks, I'm curious to see if they'll cover the rest of 918 and maybe some of 919, or not. |

| Ahh man, i would have liked to see this episode end with the revelation just like the manga which kept us readers absolutely dumbstruck for a full 2 weeks and creating every theory imaginable. Oh well, after the 20th anniversary special, finally the story of wano will truly get under way in earnest. Just the pacing isn't going to be the same with out the shock value cliff hanger we experienced in that chapter. Still looking forward to what anime fans reaction are going to be for this one. |

| So few things happened again it's unbelievable. Guess the 2nd half was ok with a bit of the usual staring contest but the first half was ridiculously stretched But did I see right? Are we gonna get a filler next week? I sure hope so.. Then the manga can get a bit more ahead |

| First half was pretty meh but at least no more of annoying Holdem. On the other hand, Law vs Hawkins was enjoyable at least. Hopefully, the next Wano episodes will deliver after the 20th anniversary special. |

| Excellent episode with lots of funny moments at least for me :D Zoro line when Luffy K.O`ed Holden "You shouldn't done that" . He doesn't have the right to say that after the fiasco in the magistrate estate the mess he cooked up. How naive Law must be to hold on that hope they wont make a huge mess. After Shabondi Hawkings for sure became quite strong its nice to see worst generation powering up. In the end there is always a preview for the next episode however it wasnt related to Wano at all. Anyone knows ,if filers are coming or is that a promo for new movie? |

The other original one shot chapters has been animated in 2008 (OVA) and its called ''One Piece: Romance Dawn Story'' |

| For once in a long time we get two amazing certain good paced ep. That's very unusual to see. Especially coming from Toei. Amazing animation in this ep. too. Hawking and Law's clash was good animated. I like the new way of animating Law's ability of Room. This is so much better than how they did it in Punkhazard and Dressrosa arcs. Poor Law, trying to make a plan and just like the Straw Hat have ruined it. He expected just too much from Luffy. He should have known it by now. :P Dem Ace flashbacks gave us dem feels. Tama is very cute and I like her relationship with Luffy. Feels like she has got a 2nd big brother. xD So cute face 😍: Next ep. special ep., adaption of the predecessor of OP, Romance Dawn. This is gonna be interesting to see how it really started, aka. the prequel before the main series. |

| The Red Hawk scene is so good, I could watch it 1000 times more <3 Luffy had 5000 IQ when he tried the Kibi Dango on Speed. I was also not expecting it to work but pretty funny. I really liked that moment when Tama was seeing Ace in Luffy. I guess she understands more and more that Luffy had a special relationship to Ace. And like always the fights of Law are just awesome. His ability amazes me everytime I see it. Was definitly a good fight, just a little bit to short. I wonder why Luffy went back. Laws reaction towards Zoro was just priceless. But that they informed Jack shit is about to get real. |

To be honest, I do not really like the latest episodes after we have got amazing introduction to Wano, but it is still fun to watch. |

| The headliners continue to be jokes as Luffy one shots one and the other is made into a servant within seconds. While it goes to show how powerful Luffy is to be able to lay a notable mark into Kaido's Army already, it also continues to make them feel incompetent. That said, that again may be the point as Jack is only one of the three disasters and Hawkins and Drake are both headliners who will absolutely not disappoint if I recall correctly. The big guns are still on standby and the 3 of which I know, I couldn't be more excited for. Seeming to parallel Sabaody even more, the dilemma was once again put on Luffy. Do not attack the incompetent loser or you will attract hell on Earth for everybody. Further, this incompetent loser, not unlike Charloss, hurt Luffy's friend and that's why he broke the deal. We saw the fire of Roger or Ace within Luffy, and as usual, he is the one unwinding the painstaking plans that others work pretty darn hard to keep together. I also wanted to mention that Law versus Hawkins was pretty freaking cool!! My man went in there with a drive to kill. He had a disguise on but the moment that he used his power, his identity would be revealed. This set the precedent that it would have to be quick. To start with body swapping with a rock that he launched for an immediate slash through Hawkins body in line with this was a nice reminder for how cool law is. Ruthless, pragmatic, calculated and to the point with one of the most creative powers in the show, yep he's an entertaining ally. Quickly assessing the proxies and cutting them down made for a good touch too. |
| Okay maybe I just don't really understand Law's devil fruit power but... ... if he slices people in half in his 'room' and then throws them out of the room / has the room disappear, wouldn't they die? Also, have the strawhats become more comfortable with just killing people (Zoro in particular)? |

Once they're outside the room, their bodies will still be separated, but they won't die, it's just that Law won't be able to manipulate them anymore if they're outside his room. No damage is ever done to them this way, it'll just immobilize them. Example: Remember in punk hazard arc where Law took out a bunch of hearts from various characters? HE did it with his room, but as we all know it still survived outside of his room as it naturally is encased with that transparent cube gel substance. |

| Alright, that was a nice conclusion to the mini-mission (that spanned several eps) to save Tama whilst also looting the bad guys off their abundant food supplies. Only the beginning felt stretched out as there's felt pretty well-paced. Kibi Dango is seriously and extremely useful in this land where the beast pirates are domination. Law VS Hawkins is just as awesome as I remembered it to be, it's so badass for Law to simply go straight for the kill without any hesitation whatsoever and it would've worked if not for Hawkin's ability. However, even if Law has just seen his ability, the genius realized what it is in a matter of seconds. Despite not being able to kill Hawkins, it's safe to say that these are not his biggest worries since, in true Strwahats fashion, Luffy and Zoro made a ruckus, fought with Hawkins before, defeated Holden which subsequently had Jack and even Kaido be notified of all these as a consequence. An alliance with Strawhats is one riddled with a bunch of headache f you're a systematic person who relies on a well thought out plan like Law does XD. |
