| Lol I love how these no-name side characters have the audacity to say they're proud chefs fighting at the front lines of cuisine.....you're "fighting at the front lines," yet they're always the first ones shown panicking at the beginning of each new challenge. I'd put more faith in the noir chefs too at this point. Also, looks like my predictably incorrect guess about the bookmaster being Souma's mom is wrong since they referred to that person as "he." Lol I knew it would be since I was just messing around, but still.... Where did Megumi and Takumi come from? I don't remember seeing their challenges and now they just showed up out of nowhere. Time to go buy a fucking chainsaw so my cooking can taste better. |

But anyway I would much rather prefer that the mangaka tried to finish this manga like maybe in 2019, in a way that make sense and didnt felt rushed, rather than dropping it. |

| Hmm the bookmaster changing the competition mid way was unexpected. Thats one hell of a carving knife that the dark chef had though. Still quite creative to put the seasoning on it and spread it using the cutting motions. Quite the challenging gatekeeper they have as their next test. |
