| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that got dark fast. The action picked up a lot this episode Sasaki's group did well although I wish they featured more of Saiko. I kinda like the music they used during some of the action scenes in particular the second half of the episode. Everyone wants to show off their Ghoul powers. Sasaki had to go up againt a tough opponent (not to mention, a pretty crazy one at that) |

| Haise and the squad sure made a timely appearance to save Mutsuki. Though the ghouls have many skilled fighters within their ranks looks like the CCG's veterans are starting to turn the tide. Urie really likes to take risks huh. Owl looks to be a formidable opponent thats for sure. An interesting episode that continues the action packed battle that last episode kicked off. |

| Well, I don't remember well but it seems like they didn't skip so many things from the manga. While the adaptation isn't that bad, I think that the animation is the big issue, if they were a new studio it would be understandable... |
| Getting this out of the way...After reaching close to the halfway point of this cour,it's clear that the visual quality is just going to stay inconsistent. I think this is especially true for the art. Pacing is whatever like usual, but I've honestly lost interest in watching this as a manga reader. Next episode looks promising content wise, so I'll wait it out, but another okay-ish episode 3/5:P |

| Another episode with action, but this time way darker. Owl is a crazy psycho, he wants meat. The scenes with him were tense. Other than that, Doves vs Ghouls everywhere. Nutcracker is a clever ghoul, and her methods to kill *sigh*. Urie wanting to show off to get recognized, but he is in big troubles. Madame has a big mouth LOL. That ending, well is time for another fight with a cliffhanger. Sasaki is against a psycho. The animation was better in this episode. |

| The animation in the 2nd half of this episode looked good and the OST to accompany it was actually great. This was an episode full of action and whilst the first half still had inconsistent animation, I thought this episode was decent. |

| ehh. the action continues to disappoint with average animation. Can't say that i care about the plot.. just random characters fighting one another. Next episode needs TO PICK UP. Sasaki vs Takizawa must be something big with good animation or i will be depressed. Seriously loved Tokyo ghoul but this so far is not even close to the older seasons. (except episode 2 which was a banger) The OST that played during the final sequence was so bad what the hell. |

| Takizawa was even more cringy in this episode than Kanae's "german"... Well, I'm certainly done giving this waste of space of an anime any more time to change my opinion. For such a battle-focused series, Pierrot has really managed to fuck up all the fights they've done so far with only the barest of animations. Dropped. |

| Hm, again I wasn't really impressed by this episode. Hopefully that can change next week (but I won't keep my hopes up). At least the battles are somewhat entertaining, even if the animation isn't always the best. |

| I am done with this. I don't really feel anything while watching this anime. Everything just feels lifeless and "plastic" to me and nothing feels impactful. Pacing is weird and way too fast. Animation is bad, especially during action scenes. Feels like 50 episodes of Boruto filler had a better animation than this. |

Overall an alright episode if you compare it to previous ones (sadly that's what we have to do to make them look not terrible), Takizawa definitely carried the second half of it and animation was somewhat better (still not really good tho). |

| It disappoints me that we didn't see Saiko fight, would be pretty fun to see her just hit the ghouls with a hammer I found Urie extremely annoying this episode (actually not just this episode) and the fact that he became so full of himself didn't help.... |

| Biggest problem in this episode was the animation of course. But it’s not enough to ruin the episode for me. Everything in this episode was pretty much in the manga so I give it a 4/5. |
