The Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san stage event at the Jump Festa 2018 has revealed cast and staff members for the series on Saturday. The anime is scheduled for a Summer 2018 premiere. The 11th compiled manga volume will bundle an OVA episode on July 4, 2018.

Okay now with the staff announced, I think the staff selection is alright... It works for what the series is, especially with the director given he works on comedy series, and this is an ecchi/harem/comedy so, it works. Given the last work he did... wasn't the best to put it lightly, and he doesn't work on that type of stuff.

The highlight for me at least is the series composition, so far from what I've checked this person can do well with comedy etc.

It looks bland though but somewhat cute at the same time. I don't have much complaints about it since it looks bland but competent (somewhat).

Edit: Just saw the PV and actually it doesn't even look bad. It looks actually pretty decent enough. Not gonna lie I like this.

A lot of people has called this out but not a lot.

Some thought J.C Staff would do it due to the artstyle being similar to Soma, then again I'm not really complaining about this because the PV looks pretty decent, competent enough to where I can say its fine xP

As long as they don't fuck up the censorship it will be fine(and only the manga tankobon volumes are uncensored for that matter), it's like a poor man's tlr with perhaps a better mc.

Yeah it is a poor man's TLR but I think its good on its own accord though. It's mild but comfy at the same time (to some degree).

Yeah I never said it's bad, the girls are likeable and the mc is pretty good on his own, but those who are looking for really raunchy action will be perhaps a bit disappointed.

Never did implied that but, yeah I agree.

And if people are looking for like extremely action-y stuff here this is just an mild, SoL comedy personally. So this will most likely focus for those that wants that type of stuff.

The PV doesn't look that good. I mean, for a standard ecchi show, I guess it's okay. But when you compared this to Lerche's Monmusu or Seven Arcs' Trinity Seven, it felt underwhelming.

Though I'm kinda curious on how Rie Takahashi will play a ninja tsundere girl. Should be fun, because Rie Takahashi is everywhere nowadays lol. But I'm more surprised that they give the main lead role for a newbie, instead of giving her a side character role and let Takahashi Rie to take up the lead role. I just hope she wouldn't be as terrible as Asta's VA main role from Black Clover.

So it's getting animated by Xebec; the same studio responsible for the To Love-Ru series. Cool. Hopefully it has an uncensored version when released on Blu-ray, like when the manga was released on tankobon. Interesting that Megumin/Emilia is voicing Sagiri. I hope people don't think this as a To Love-Ru rip-off when it starts airing, though.

The main girl is not a Tsundere, she's pretty much a nice character if you ask me. Literally the PV shows her good side and its not really an Tsundere archetype.
