Mine comes from aliexpress took 45 days, but it was atleast a pretty good one. They also have this one of run, but there is a 1 on 4 change you will get tilted. I'm also not completely sure of sizes and stuff.  |

| Step 1: build/get a hold of a smart home system with voice feedback Step 2: hire the voice actress of your waifu to personalize the smart home system Optional: create a 3D model of your waifu to give a virtual presence to your smart home system/AI. While being faaaar from the hologram girl in Blade Runner:2049 (I assume that as the ultimate AI), it certainly is more feasible. PS: you can also train a neural network with all kinds of raw anime dialogues from your waifu and have it learn the tone, pitch, volume and probably DeepMind already does that. ;) |

I was still being realistic :P thanks for the link, I've actually seen that a while ago but completely forgot the name and deserves real attention. If that system, once in the market, allows some kind of customization of the hologram and of the speeches, it would be awesome. Currently I know about a project for mapping the brain connections and learn how thoughts work, http://www.humanconnectomeproject.org/, still in research though. You can train any kind of deep learning model and have a response that mimics the human voice/behaviour/manner of speech but for the intelligence part you'll definitely need big data related to both verbal and non-verbal communication. Also, I would definitely look for Artificial Generic Intelligence projects which aim at creating AIs able to do way more than performing better than a human in a single task (chess, go, etc.). I'm especially intrigued by the AR potential, compared to VR in terms of allowing freedom of interaction but this doesn't solve the problem of having a tangible feedback from your waifu. :P VR has the same problem and is also more artificial in the sense that it detaches you from the real world and being unaware of one's own surrounding can be dangerous, but probably will have more potential in the future. Less realistically speaking, you would have scenarios like in Chobits, by giving the waifu a real body for you to interact with in the real world. A Matrix-like world where you can transfer your consciousness to a synthetic reality and interact with the waifu, leaving out the real body problem is also very interesting! I'll update when I'll have more ideas :P |

You would need to create an AI program that acts human-like and can learn on its own, and then you would need to be able to upload your brain into a VR system or something, putting you in the world with the AI. Alternatively, you could just create a lifelike robot with that AI technology. All of these things are theoretically possible, but I doubt they will happen in our lifetimes.
