For me, I believe it was Sword Art Online that started it all for me. It was a lonely vacation in Brazil and my Netflix decided to recommend it to me lol.
After that, I went to watch Owari no Seraph and other shows.
Now I'm who I am today... and that's a good thing??????

Death Note, I was looking through 300 channels on my tv to see if there are some interesting ones I don't know about and bam, Death Note on some cartoon channel. The third episode, I think. I was instantly hooked and looked on the net for the 1st and 2nd episode. And after I finished it I wanted to watch more so I found some streaming sites and watched Psycho Pass, Shiki, Kuroshitsuji - and it went fast from there.

Without knowing about "anime" it was Sailor Moon or Yattaman.. but in fact it was Dragon Ball Z, which my mom didn't allow me to watch. It was 2002? or 2003? and I was maybe 8 years old. Much older friend came to my city with manga-anime magazines, in love with Dragon Ball and showed me and my sister the new world. After DB, I watched Slayers, because it also was on TV. I remember how hard it was to find anime on the Internet. But thanks to the magazines I got to know a lot of titles. I loved DN Angel, Hunter x Hunter, Chobits, Evangelion, Mars, Fullmetal Panic, Ragnarok the Animation... I remember downloading random episodes from eMule... good old times hahaha~

Naruto is what really got me into anime. I remember seeing it on Toonami a long time ago. Last year I really started getting into anime. I was binge watching all kinds of shows. Now, I've really expanded my taste. I definitely watch all kind of genres now.

The first anime I ever watched was neon genesis evangelion when I was 9 or something. I didn't really think about it being anime then. So the anime that introduced me to everything was Angel Beats, I just watched a random series and I liked it and went on to Sword Art Online and Mirai Nikki and so on. Later I discovered even better (and underrated) anime series. So, well, I guess it all starts somewhere. I would never rewatch the stuff I used to like

I have been watching anime since I was 4 (sailor moon) and was apart of the hype train when pokemon came out while I was in grade school. However I didn't really understand what anime was until middle school. I don't remember specifically which anime did it, but I think it was either cowboy bebop or inuyasha. Either way I pretty much had my TV on Saturday nights (anime nights) when adult swim was on. GITS, Inuyasha, Cased Closed, Lupin the Third, FMA....brings back memories

I watched a lot on TV as a kid. But I think the ones that made me see the potential of the medium, come back to watching anime, and seek for others were Code Geass, Death Note and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Not a single one, but these three together.

Both EVANGELION (the original TV Series) and K-ON! were the ones truly responsible for bringing me deeper into anime. Sure, there were Sailormoon and CCS, but they weren't as highly influential as the other two for me.

P4 the Animation was my first anime but the first anime that I credit for really getting me started with anime was Gurren Lagann

Before I even knew what anime is, I've watched Sailor Moon, Ganbare! Kickers and even some episodes of Cat's Eye. I was around 5-7 years old during that time so I can't remember anything that happened in these shows.

What brought me back to it was actually an "only average" anime, the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series.
Back then I even bought a manga magazine just because it had Yu-Gi-Oh! on it's cover.
That was the moment I learned about Naruto, Shaman King, HunterXHunter, One Piece and many other series that were published in that magazine.

And so, my interest in anime was born c:

Lol that's not my problem(dont be serious)
First anime I ever watched is Naruto.
And then naruto brought me to watch some sounen like dragon ball, bleach, one piece, ninja hatory, and Detective conan.
Also, anime makes me feel good for my mood.

Exactly my thoughts, I thought more people would say Naruto. For me it was also Naruto, I remember the first episode I watched was when Naruto was learning how to run up a tree.

I'd watched a few anime before but Kotoura-san during the February of 2016 really fueled it, although I haven't had much time overall to watch much anime, i plan to watch a lot more this summer
But my overall first anime was Pokemon if that even counts, and Ponyo at my local movie theater back in 2009 when I was a child

I then stopped and picked up Soul Eater in the summer of 2015, then SNK, then Ouran, stopped for a bit. Now here I am.
