| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh man, I forget how funny Isidro can be in this show. I mean, Berserk doesn't have a whole lot of comedy but this guy always expresses humor in it. Nice to see Schierke appear but Isidro really made the mistake of groping her this episode LOL (even if it wasn't entirely intentionally). I'm glad to see Casca doing a lot better now that she's calmed down though. Guts is still kicking ass as usual even against some pretty strange creatures in that forest. I like how he just doesn't give a shit what he's facing against. |

| Good episode. Isidoro and Puck always make for an amusing duo. We finally get to see Schierke, the magic effects were pretty good. Isidoro and his groping .:3 The old witch of the forest meet with our group. Looking forward to what's coming next. |

| I'm so glad they improved things since last season! Things are starting to get more interesting with the introduction of the witches and I have a feeling things are just ramping up for the fireworks at the end of the season! Plus I really like the OP it's up there with the OP from last season which is one of my favorite of all time!!! |

| I must confess that when Shierke first appeared in the manga back in the day, I was pissed as hell. I felt Berserk had gone down the toilet with loli witches. Now the years have passed and I'm more mellow and open to different tropes and genres and I've made my peace with her. Specially considering the role she now plays in the manga too. I'f not mistaken it's none other than my beloved Chiwa Saito voicing her, right? |

| It'll take some getting used to Schierke's and Ivalera's voice. They sound totally different from what I'd been imagning all these years (as opposed to Farnese's and Serpico's, which are on point). As far as i know puck healing was not explained at all, if you read the manga he even puts his dust in pouches for guts to use Yea but the movies had early encounters with apostoles not explaining they become that because of the egg things |

| Good episode. I liked the new char (Schierke). Only Casca is getting boring a bit ... I hope she'll get "healed" soon. (Would be bad if they kept her mentally broken until the plot ended. Hopefully in the manga it won't stay for too much longer like that.) |

| Very nice episode! Isidro training with Guts was nice because he also want to be useful. Farnese being useless and she's very vulnerable. Serpico was right, Guts changed her. Alright! Schierke has appeared and seems a very capable witch for the team! and also a rival friction to Isidro! lolz Looks like Puck also has another companion of her own elf race: Evarella 5/5. |

| Welp, the adaptation's back to being complete shit once again. Wish this anime's director would learn how to pace a series/transition from scene to scene smoothly on a consistent basis. Hopefully all of the cut animation and frames will be fixed in the upcoming fights (although given how things have gone up until this point I doubt it). At very least I'm glad Schierke's magic turned out at a passable level. 2/5 |

| Guts is in the tree house! Even if the series is flawed I'm still excited to see him finally there. Another great episode. I found some of Isidro and Puck's antics annoying when I read the manga years ago, I dunno if it's age or just seeing them animated but either way I really like how they've turned out. Surprised by some of the complaints about pacing, I thought it was spot on just like last episode. Great music in the "slower" moments, too. Not a fan of this composer's work overall and especially his more action-y themes, but occasionally he comes up with something I really enjoy. I find the voice for the female elf annoying, but that's about my only criticism of the episode. |

For those that say "oh they don't have the money", well that goes for any show out there. Stop excusing the un-excusable. They're being lazy, abusing the CGI, we must no support this but shame it. They had enough money for the movies, and even though CGI was noticeable there, it wasn't as prominent as in these adaptations. P.s. If you can't remember any tv show with CGI, then try to explain to yourself how special effects were done in Agents of Shield, Game of Thrones, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, The Flash, Daredevil... Don't waste my time with replies. |
| At times I think that the studio decided to invest more into the openings rather than the show itself, I have ignored the bad cgi moments for awhile but now? I feel like I'm watching a cut scene from a low budget game and not Berserk... |
