| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Just as I thought, I don't remember reading both stories from the manga. And airing winter stories during summer is out of season. Even oden is expensive? Ageha, the rich girl, brought oden so that they can eat alone, but everyone else is there. A samurai soul in the pot. A rule known as Nabebugyo in order to enjoy pot... Rinne enjoying oden, but soul of Nabebugyo taking all the good stuff. Then Rinne thinking why it is good, Tsubasa vs. Rokumon, the girl says she likes them. Renge joined because of the noise from their argument. Sabato caught devil fever and Rinne caught strong shinigami fever. Battle between them for spreading the fever. When Sabato got well, shinigami fever is spread. The pill for shinigami fever is scary, a bomb! More winter stories (and probably anime original, too) next. |

| This episode made me hungry a bit because of the udon. Not sure that I find it more funnier than any of the other episodes though even with the way they went into details about the food. I bet that tasted delicious. Oh and demons can catch flus too? That's news to me. |

| rinne ears of blood seem adorable to me somehow...... the episode at first looked like a gourmet session but overall mockery of Ageha and exorcist made it all the fun none the less |

| Lol the way Rinne describes and thinks of oden is so exaggerated. Then again, I agree, it's delicious, especially during the winter. Wtf was the oden magistrate thing lolol (forgot what they called it). Of course Tsubasa would get certified in something like. I love how Rinne tries to restrain himself, always so considerate XD The second part though, lol, infecting each other with sneezes and coughs, oh dear. |

| I feel like most of the nuance of the jokes in the first part were lost in translation. But it was still funny. Savage Sakura roasting Ageha was awesome. Nice of Ageha to do something nice for Rinne without any ulterior motives. When was the last time she did that? And I'm surprised she doesn't help Rinne more often with her wealth. I just found out the narrator is actually voiced by Genda Tessho. He's the voice of Rei in the original Urusei Yatsura. And he also voices CAO-2 as a cameo in the Remake. Even with this information I still don't like the narrator. He over-explains simple things over and over and the voice also sounds flat or monotone. It's like he was forced to deliver his lines in the most boring way possible. An example of a legacy voice actor doing a fun and exciting narrating job would be Hidaka Noriko in Mix Meisei Story. Lately there hasn't been much focus on Sakura. Hope next episode fixes that. And I'd also like to see Renge more often too. Especially after how she was "advertised" in both OPs. |
