It's an OJT, but you can call it a summer job I guess. I'm not getting paid for it though, I'm currently doing my work ex in the hotel in our city. Rotation jobs, so I get to experience how it is like to work at different departments. It's tiring but it's more tiring with the fact that we aren't being paid for such a physically-demanding job. I'm doing a day shift, I do work overtime whenever I can though. Still have more or less 90 hours to complete the hours required.

I don't intend on getting a job this summer. I don't need the cash too much and I'm looking to focus on my athletics

I'm not in school and I have a job at a restaurant that is naturally in preparation for the summer (restaurants are much busier in the summer so they have to collect and train staff before then). School wouldn't be out for me yet at this time, anyway. My job's going pretty well for me, although there is a severe staff shortage right now (the kitchen staff dropped from 6 to 4 with one of the staff not being able to work as much as before).

Nope. I do volunteer at a local hospital tho, where I deal with child patients and what not. I haven't gotten a summer job yet, just because I think that a job might conflict with my schedule (not that I'm saying that I'm super popular or anything of the sort, I just have other priorities). I do have other means to getting money tho, so it's ok.

Low paying, a little gratifying, but at the end of the day, it's still low paying.
At least it gives me an opportunity not to sit around on my formerly NEET ass I suppose.

Yeah I have one, working 2 jobs atm.

i've applied like at 5 different places this week

Oh maybe, maybe it's the clothes we wear
The tasteless bracelets and the dye in our hair
Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns or our nothing places
But we're trash, you and me
We're the litter on the breeze
We're the lovers on the streets
Just trash, me and you
It's in everything we do
It's in everything we do

Working at a math tutoring company; my students are anywhere from 1st grade to senior year of high school. It's pretty lowkey and fun, albeit mildly strange when I happen to teach people that go to high school with me. But it works well because I've had many of their teachers in the past, so I generally have an idea of what their teachers want to see.

I started my new job at the end of January so that is my "summer job" this year. Not sure if it is going to be my seasonal job for the holidays, though.

I'll start my summer job in July, seeing as most schools are still ''in'' here. I'll be sorting books, and although the hours are pretty demanding, the pay is pretty good. The down-side to this is that I barely have any time left to relax, even though I really need some time off.

I'll be raking the leaves, plucking weeds and altogether keeping this one graveyard clean. Outdoor job for the first time, yay. It's in the same area as my summer job from last year, so Ill be biking 25km daily again. I like listening to Yowamushi Pedal on the commute.

Indeed that is me. You're welcome Glad to hear you enjoy 水曜日のカンパネラ. I'm enjoying the new music i've been buying though i shouldn't be spending money even though my summer job is a dream job on the farm living with a family from a sister church my time here has been heavenly if i could just do my job faster i could be making around $24/h still though can't help but be content with my lot in life even without that blessing. Never heard that person from your link before i really liked his song but now for a trainee country pumpkin like myself its time for some
natsu ni yume miru hima wa nai te iu noni ne + https://m.soundcloud.com/aurorasu my soundcloud i have lots of great songs liked play em on random and your sure to find a good 100 that you've never heard before which you'll fall in love with

Yet to ever get a single response from any of my applications from over the past two years, I don't have much hope for now.

Just gonna stay NEET for the summer until I start college in August, and then try to get a part time there because the school's about three hours from where I live.

I don't do that shit ever since I graduated and started looking for real jobs. Not that I do real jobs either, since I can't get them, so I'm taking all of this summer free for the fifth year straight. Actually I'm just taking the entire year free while I'm at it.

I'll tell you when I get off my ass and actually go do the thingy.

Probably just gonna lift boxes for UPS. Get money, get swoll, easiest option cause of high turn-over rate. Don't have to actually try to get the job.
☕ Truth be told, I'm quite proud of my house blend. To attain my flavor and fragrance, I use five different types of coffee beans. ☕

My summer job is being a barista at Starbucks~
I really enjoy working with my coworkers and making coffee

Hanging out with friends and going to events cost money!!

I also hate being lazy/not productive with my day

if its low paying AND a little gratifying, why stick around? but that's just me.

I would rather be NEET.

My dad won't let me be a NEET lmao
I was one for long enough and it drove him crazy

Currently working at the same computer hardware company as I was during the school year. The good thing about making money is that I can finally do that Beams engine swap I was planning for my MR2.

That thing's gonna be a naturally-aspirated monster.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

Just wait until you younger folks get to that point in life where "summer job" as a specific term just becomes "job."
