| I think that the next few weeks of episodes are going to be as good as this just because of the slew of information the chapters revealed following this one. This is one of the best OP episodes in recent memory, not just because of content, but because there was hardly any padding! Dan-Te said: JayDrink said: Are you talking about the narrator? I think these statements of the narrator are legitimate since Whitebeard is dead. But some people may see a conflict in these statements. Kaidou is the strongest creature in the world. And let's not forget that Shanks stopped this behemoth from going to the War of the Best before stopping the war himself. However, I say that we can't even gauge strength since we've seen practically none of the "strongest" characters truly fight (there was Whitebeard, but of course he's dead). |

We don't know much about the Red Hair Pirates, but at least that's the impression I have about Benn Beckman and Lucky Roo. Besides, when I say that Shanks shouldn't be compared to Kaido I'm also referring to Mihawk and Whitebeard, they are all still in human level, since they are all killable. But Kaido survived a guillotine, he seems to be unkillable from what was shown in this episode, and I'm inclined to think that it's not a fruit's power, he seems to be brutally strong. When a character says something we can just take it for his opinion, but the narrator said that he is the strongest in the world, that's Oda stating the facts about the world he created. Edit: "people call him the strongest", sorry I missed that point. |

| Don't remember the conversation between Zoro and Kyros being in the manga, but I really liked that moment when Zoro was saying he would like to spar with him someday was great. Also happy to see the rest of the straw hats again, really liking how Zou was animated so far, hopefully it will continue to be animated with the justice it deserves. And finally get to see Kaidou animated. Loved the art style and animation for his introduction, was so dope, the background music as well. I was screaming. It was so effing HYPE seeing him. |

| Really liked this episode. Great to see Sanji and the others back, Brook was hilarious this episode. I was surprised to see the shackles off of Caesar, that seems really desperate. Of course that's all overshadowed by that incredible entrance by Kaido, damn that was awesome. I can't think of a better entrance by a One Piece character. If he shrugs off a 10,000 foot drop and is a big giant monster I wonder how in the world he could've ever been captured. Maybe because he was trying to die? I'm curious about his backstory. Luffy's going to need to come up with Gear Five. |

| Ah, finally the return of Sanji, I missed his shenanigans… Lol! Also I’m glad to see Nami, Brook, and Chopper it felt like forever since the last time I saw them in action... Kaido... How do you kill/defeat a man who tries to ends his life by jumping from the sky 10,000 meters and survives + challenged all of the four emperor and the Marine corps and survives practically in one piece? |

| Just letting you know guys, because the anime censored it: committing suicide is actually Kaido's hobby Narrator did mention it in the manga, but it was ommited in the anime. Too hardcore, I guess. |

| What an epic beginning for an new arc. I liked the conversation between Zorro and Kyros and that he would to fight against him someday. Kyros has 2 legs again which means Law has something to do with that. I also loved to see Name, Sanji, Brook and Chopper again. <3 For sure it was really confusing at the beginning because I don't know anything what happened (as a non manga reader). So I'm curious when they will show everything which happened during the things on Dressrosa. Holy fucking shit. Kaido is an absolute unkillable monster. He leapt from 10000 metres on the isle where Kid and Co. were and he survived. And he looked so epic. That's how you introduce a new emperor. Kid knows for sure that they're in big shit. PS: Regarding to the discussion about Shanks and how strong he is. Nobody knows. We have never seen him fight, so everything is speculation. But he must be strong. Alone the fact that he stopped Kaido and ended the Marine Ford War gives enough hints about his strength. I hope someday we will see or hear more about this. PSS: Seems like Luffy has to go bald to beat Kaido. |

| Kaido's first appearance was much cooler in the manga, but they did a ok job here too. Finally we are back to Sanji and the gang that we haven't seen for 2 years I think. It's good news that Zou arc will soon enough start so we finally can get a new OP. Geez. -.-' Decent and ok ep. |

Btw, I'm not sure, but if he's a devil fruit user, then why won't he just commit suicide by drowning? Unless he's not, but then I have no idea how he could become that strong. Also, FINALLY got to see Sanji's group! I don't even remember when was the last time we saw them, over a year ago? Seems that at last we will get some focus on them, aww yiss. New opening, when? |

| I'm pretty sure we know where the animation went, pretty much only into Kaido's introduction, which was amazing. We finally got to see the other half of the crew again, being on an island, trying to find a certain girl and fighting some guys. Loved the scene where Zoro said he wanted to spar with Kyros some day :) |

| So we finally see the rest of the crew again, though there's some stuff missing, for example how they entered the island. Then after a long foreshadowing Kaidou appeared and they at least stepped up their animation. No "Difficult" soundtrack though :/ |
