Now I'm going to use alcohol tasting terms like crisp tasty carbonated nose, oaky raspberry earthy aroma and caramel roasted hoppy dryness to seem smarter. If you liked Primer I think you'll like this movie at least. I think Primer is too convoluted for me. I'm not against having to think about a movie, but when you need hours of analysis, graphs and timetables to even remotely make sense of something I think I'll pass. I mainly want to ve entertained and have fun when I watch movies, not write a thesis about them. I tried to watch it once as a teen when I was into that kind of mindfuck stuff but back then my still developing english skills made it even more impossible to understand what's going on exactly and I dropped it after the first 30 minutes or so. The research data I found on the internet just scared me away further. Is the Upstream movie similarly complicated? If not, I might give it a shot. |

It doesn't take as much brain power to get a hold of the plot, but a rewatch certainly helps to get everything in order. I didn't need the internet to explain it to me at least like with Primer :> He should learn to quote correctly. |
