| Fairly generic and cliche tbh. Seen the whole guy has awesome power but doesn't use it, another person swoops in to kill monster that person loses, op mc jumps in and saves the day. *yawn* I guess I'll watch another episode or two before I drop. |
| Imao this was a pretty meh episode. I had already read some of the earlier chapters of the manga so i was more interested in how things were going to be presented vs the actual content, and i was pretty disappointed. The view point switches in the beginning made the episode feel choppy for no reason, along with the overuse of flashbacks. But the most disappointing part of this episode had to be the MC's one punch, holy shit that was lame. The punch itself was underwhelming and using a still image for a giant monster exploding is not the right move. |

| I was right not to expect anything from it since the pilot was just... okay. Not disappointing, but not really impressive either. The MC seems to be OP but wasn't the annoying and generic OP imo. I don't know how to explain it lol. But yeah, I hope it improves, and more explanation about how this world works. |

| Hate the protag's teeth. Alright first episode I guess. Typical for a first episode development. But I like the art style (besides the teeth) and those stylish zoom-ins on faces. So I guess the Magano in this show is something that works like the Fuzetsu in Shakugan no Shana. |

| Frustrated because wasted 5 minutes skimming. It's a shame because of it's horrible story execution for attracting visual design. But it looks like for kids so they just want to watch shit unfold. Best part to watch is when they are not doing plot. |

| Good stuff, art/animation was good. The mc seems like he could grow on you but not very fond of him at this point. I hope it keeps a dark edge to it. If this starts to creep back into a younger view audience rating I don't know if I'll keep watching it. I like the story so it entertains me now. I love the supernatural genre. Here's hoping for a good season. |

pffft i like this series but saying it's better than boku no hero academia is laughable if you've never read the bnha manga then i guess i understand why you're saying that. but really though... bnha will probably be the best anime this season. |

| the dialogue are so cringeworthy i can't handle it, is it the problem with the directing or is it just like that in the manga? the jokes are so unfunny, i get a second hand embarrassment watching it :( the main heroine is as generic as she could be, her mannerism, quirks, looks, everything is sooo "how to create a female heroine 101" sad any of you manga reader, does the anime adapt the manga faithfully? |
| Pretty decent start. Not sure what to think of it just yet though I think I enjoyed this first episode more than Boku no Heroes. I hope it gets a faithful adaptation. That OP was simply amazing. The fact it's Wagakki Band instantly makes it one of my favourite openings this season. I was in shock at end, even though I knew right away it was them, I never expected to see them doing theme songs for anime. Would love to see them do more in the future. |

| I like the animation of this so far and the action scenes are pretty good. I do get the vibe of playing a video game from this though. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet. Time will tell I suppose. I do love Benio's facial expressions in this and Rokuro's reactions. Quite the interesting pair. Hope they stick to the source material, though not much is available at the moment. |

| Not bad, not too promising though. That was a lot of blood for a primetime show but the rest of the show fits the kids demographic. Effects, CGI and screenplay were all good but the animation itself was, well, not terrible but considering it's the first episode not too great either. Amusingly that 24 minute episode was roughly similar in its premise to the whole 2 cours of Ravens. |
| the drama feels "pushed". I wish they hadn't done such dramatic scenes. The horrible first screens were alright, but how the MC handled it with the girl was exaggerated in my opinion. The art of the monsters isn't very pretty either. However the story seems interesting and I like them excorcists so I will give it a try. |

| Wow the art and animation is surprisingly good. The ost ain't bad too. Although it still can't compare with the manga art but it's pretty good in my opinion. The pacing is quite faster especially when they'll fight each other already next episode. For now it feels a bit forced and rush, but I just hope they develop the characters well. The manga was a tad bit darker while the anime didn't have that vibe.. yet. Benio for best waifu of the season !! (//∇//) |

| The vibes of exorcising Kegare reminds me of Madoka and Noragami combined. Looking pretty good so far. Can't wait for Benio vs Rokuro fight from the preview. The brute strength puncher vs fast speed slasher. |

| Really good. I read the first couple chapters and while this episode added some new material, it seemed to keep to the spirit of the series. More than I expected from Studio Pisserot. I don't get why people are saying that Rokuro and the series as a whole are super cliche though. Afterall, most shonen protagonists want to be the best and vanquish all evil. Rokuro, on the other hand, just wants to live a normal life and has no desire to be the strongest exorcist. He's also not naive enough to think that it is possible to vanquish all the world's evil. On top of that, the show has already practically announced that its going to feature a linear romance and not a harem. Plus, Benio is super cute and complements the protag well (she gives me those Morgianna vibes, which is a big bonus). Idk, just more proof that the MAL community's standards are incredibly dumb and hypocritical. |

| Already love this series. It's like a mix of Bleach, Noragami, and D.Gray-man (Because of the whole Exorcist thing) and I like that it has more than one main character, both being a duo. It seems he's focused on raw strength, while Benio is focused on speed. |
