They are bad people in general, like Gilgamesh, so you might want to claim they weren't sexist. But at least Sudou quite obviously ignores Asuna's will completely. And her parents aren't much better. |

Most things from before the late 90's especially OVA's. There are a lot of exceptions though like Rose of Versailles and Utena. |

@Comic_Sans Wikipedia said: Saber is surprised by the sudden arrival of Waver and Rider at Castle Einzbern. Rider declares his intention to have a peaceful discussion with her and Archer on the subject of kingship and the wishes they want the Grail to grant. Saber argues that a king should serve his people selflessly and wishes to use the Grail's power to save Britain. Rider criticizes her, saying that Saber's emotional distance from her subjects led to their dissatisfaction and proposes his own ideal, namely that people should serve the king, whose extravagant ambitions inspire them in turn. Their talk is interrupted by the arrival of the Assassins. When they rebuff Rider's offer to join the feast, Rider summons his Noble Phantasm called Ionian Hetairoi, composed of the vast number of loyal soldiers who also became Servants after their death. Rider and his army easily decimate every single Assassin. With their meeting over, Rider tells Saber that he no longer recognizes her as a king and departs. A conflicted Saber reveals to Iri that one of her knights left Camelot because he was dissatisfied with her rule. Wikipedia isn't really a site for anime but seeing as how its info is overseen whenever edits are made ,then that's a pretty good summary of the ep . She wasn't weak .Just unfit . |

Not too long ago I re-watched Fate/Zero, and though I still love the series very much I found Gilgamesh to be extremely sexist, funny but sexist. I re-watched that one scene where Gilgamesh is proposing to Saber while throwing swords at her, he tells her to lay down her sword and become his bride and when she refuses he literally throws more swords at her saying that he never asked for her opinion and she will do as he says. Very awesome/funny scene and yet so sexist. So other than that which anime characters do you think are sexist? Now explain to me how is that sexist ? Gilgamesh doesn't ask males their opinions either... That's one of the things that make him such a great character. Gilgamesh doesn't have to accept opinions, by HUMAN's logic he is superior to those filthy humans. Do you ask an ant's opinion ? No, well you're a fucking asshole if you hate Gilgamesh for that. |

Comic_Sans and NaCl and everyone else saying Gil is sexist , No way Gilgamesh is sexist. It's just his character not to take weaklings seriously. He wouldn't be half as good if it wasn't for his arrogance and badass personality. If Gil were more naïve , he would just turn into another Archer and I seriously wouldn't want that. But Saber was just painful to watch. I'll agree on that part. |

Nami from One Piece, though she is a weird case in that she only cares about money. Still, there is a noticeable difference in the way she treats the guys by beating them up all the time, extorting them and generally not caring much how they feel and the girls such as Vivi and Robin to whom she is much nicer. Sanji is an even straighter example. He's quick to fall for anything female, even an enemy as long as she is hot and he says he will protect the girls in the crew but could not care less what happens to the guys. It's a very old-fashioned attitude conveying that men should be able to protect themselves no matter how strong or weak. |

Monad said: Girls in anime are really sexist. Hitting the poor guys all the time and assuming they must be perverts. Reminds me of Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. MC is the only boy in his profession (because boys usually don't get magic powers), and the girls think he's the demon lord who wants to sexually enslave all of them (for no reason except that they are perverted themselves). And occasionally attack him with overpowered magics because of that. Well, a lot of them end up falling for him, so they might have been right. |

Well if we include the gender bender genre, Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) deals with themes of cross-dressing and can technically show sexism in children. |
