| I'm currently watching Bakuman and three episodes in its clear that they haven't quite got the basics right. From time to time you would find yourself thinking "no way that would happen in real life ". The characters are unrealistic and the pacing has been unnaturally fast but there is something oddly enjoyable about this show. This was just an example, I'm sure there are more anime out there just like this and I'm not even talking about ' guilty pleasure ' anime (HSOTD,ore twintails). |

| This is exactly how I feel about Starmu. I know it's not good by any means, but I'm enjoying the shit out of it. And not just because of the gay confession scene either. Also: -Bikini Warriors (it knew what it was, and as a parody it was fun.) -Hetalia (I love the characters a lot.) -Kamigami no Asobi (creepy rapey dudes but it was still good as far as reverse harems go.) -Kono Naka ni Hitori, Imouto ga Iru! (yes.) -Ladies versus Butlers! (it's so awful but also enjoyable as fuck...) -Meganebu! (god dammit DEEN, I'm meant to hate you fuckers.) -Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiinda ga.(( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) But really, who cares if it's shit so long as you enjoyed it? That's the point of anime, to me -- liking things purely based on whether or not you enjoyed yourself (hey) while watching them. I take no shame in liking shit series. In fact, y'all should be ashamed of only liking *~*technically good*~* series tbh. Learn to have some fun. |

| To name a few: Ben-To (it has some fanservice, but not too much of it; The ridiculous premise is what it rolls with, mot of the time) Another (it goes a little overly melodramatic and takes itself way too seriously at times, but it does a decent job of building atmosphere) Appleseed Alpha (it's fun in the way your average action/adventure Hollywood films are) Chrome Shelled Regios (a standard harem/action/school-for-gifted-teens fair, with mostly cookie-cutter characters and little to no fanservice, but still oddly fun to watch) Fractale (unoriginal characters, derivative Utopia-with-a-dark-secret plot and clunky pacing, but still very fun) Girls und Panzer (messy mix of cute-girls-doing-cute-things slice of life elements with an underdog-at-a-high-stakes-sports-tournatment plot, but very engaging) Kaze no Stigma (poorly-written characters in generic, jerkily-paced plot) I tend to be fairly lenient when scoring anime that can be entertaining despite glaring flaws in their plot and characterisation. |
