As I'm sure many of you have, I've come up with many different concepts for an anime/manga. However, I'm sure that most of them will never see the light of day. One my ideas that I would love to see come to life is as follows:

Synopsis:

Rules of the World:

The Main Character:

It's pretty much a breakdown/parody of the high school genre. I just wanted to get my idea out there so go ahead and say what you will about it. Feedback is always appreciated.

TL;DR:

emmm. TL;DR please. more shorter.

I see you haven't watched Haruhi.

It's not what you described, but the feel is similar. You might want to give it a try.

The character is pretty generic. Sound like you want to break the 3rd wall or have someone experience culture shock. The ideas are alright.

I tend to agree. I just went with a character that would contrast the most with what's going on around him. I'm still trying to get the character to be unique as possible, but also one that contrasts the world he's in, like I said. Looking for that sweet spot.
I don't really want to break the 3rd wall (we'll see), but I do think culture shock is a little closer to what I'm getting at. Mostly just point out how absurd some of the high school anime tropes and shortcut-animations are and make fun of them.
Mind explaining what makes the ideas "alright" and give some input to improve them? I appreciate the feedback though, I'll continue to work on the finer details.

Honestly I could only know if its good or not based on how well it works as a comedy and a parody. The scenario sounds fine but the story will suck if the content doesn't deliver. (In this case the comedy i'm guessing).
Memories may fade, but that doesn't mean there isn't any point in making them.

Indeed. The hard part is getting the execution to be good. Now, I don't want the whole thing to be completely dependent on the comedy. It's an important aspect, but I do want there to be an actual story with this rather than just a bunch of "cliche scenes that don't go how they're supposed to hur dur dur so funny", because then it'll basically just be a bunch of comedy sketches thrown together. I want to delve into the cliches and question why they exist in relation to the world I've created. I.e. what happens to the world/other characters if the MC doesn't do what he's supposed to for extended periods of time? If there are consequences, are they world-wide? Why do the characters, and seemingly the world itself, react so strongly to the breaking of the cliches? Things like that. Still working on them though.

For some reason, I thought this would be about going back to 4:3 aspect ratio.

Everything that connects to MAL

Contains Ecchi, but not Tagged Ecchi: Part 1 || Part 2 || Part 3

Nah. Any idea can be a 10/10 if executed properly, this one's no different.

Also, the main character doesn't really have to be unique. You could have everyone else be unique and quirky and just play around with his 'out-of-place-iness'. Grey-Zone said this before tbh, basically like Saitama. Just not exactly like him lol.

That so? Happen to remember what it's called? I guess I can't be really surprised that's it's not completely unique idea.

How are anime tropes and cliches played without the audience knownledge when the audience is already well versed on the subject?

It's more about how they're not played out, if that makes any sense.
For example, let's take the common "girl runs into guy" situation. In anime, it usually results in both of them falling with the girl on top, and maybe some breast grabbing. In real life however, two people bump into each other, apologize and move on.
Now what I'll go with is this:
MC and girl run into each other, neither fall down. MC apologizes and proceeds to move on. Girl glares at MC and blocks his path, much to the MC's confusion and slight discomfort. Girl pushes down MC into the floor, jumps on top of him and says something along the lines of 'Oh my gosh, are you okay?"

In other words, it's about how the MC and other characters react to a situation. The MC will react how a person in the real world would react, while the other characters will force the MC to do what he's supposed to do. Hope that clears up any confusion.

Nah, I must've mixed up a lot of anime. And I might just be misunderstanding tropes with an overdose of references (like osomatsu-san episode 1)

Like what TripleSRank said, Haruhi is probably the closest.

It's a simultaneous effort. I'm getting feedback from here to really try to work out any possible discrepances for both the audience and I.

Hm. I see.

Like a Matrix, or Stranger Than Fiction/The Adjustment Bureau blend but in anime with anime tropes?
Interesting. I'm pretty sure it's been done before but not as a full length stuff, not that I can remember.

Nichijou makes quick references of this. Lucky Star and ZnT (stands for Zero no Tsukaima) as well.
Yuri Yuri constantly jokes about screentime and main character roles. Joshiraku too.

Yeah, I think that's really close to what I'm trying to do.

Ahh, okay cool. I'll definitely check these out. I might implement some of those in my own way if they don't conflict with what I already have. We'll see.
