Fuck man. Just talk to me or something, I mean, all I can really do is list facts about myself. I like video games and music. I'm in college getting a double major in computer science and percussion studies. I fucking hate anime.
I guess for context's sake, I should tell you how I rate anime. I hate numerical rating scales but that's what MAL uses so fuck me I guess.
1 - Why did I watch the entire series now?
2 - I mean, I guess they tried or something.
3 - There's some enjoyable-ish stuff but most of it is shit to me. That or it's just not my cup of tea, as the kids say.
4 - Decent amount of redeemable qualities, but most is either "meh", "wtf", and/or "shit".
5 - Not too bad, not too good.
6 - Enjoyabe for like 55%+. Probably wouldn't watch it again though.
7 - Hey, that's pretty good.
8 - I can get down with this.
9 - ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
10 - ???
These are just general feelings associated with different scores not really an end all be all. A 7 for one show isn't necessarily the same as a 7 for another show. There's other factors and stuff but it's pretty unnecessary for me to explain all that bullshit.
I don't know how to make my profile all fancy and stuff so this is what you get.
Nothing wrong with that. It's good to have school as your top priority, especially if you already have auditions on top of your school work. One the other hand, here's some food for thought: One of my friends asked me to come to a Surf camp with him, but I already had an internship lined up so I didn't go. In retrospect, I really wish I had if only just to see, haha. But whatever you choose, good luck!
Responding here instead. I never tried out for DCI myself, but I did the whole high school/college gig and I have a couple friends who did march, so I've been a dedicated follower for awhile. Since you have that Drew Guy signature, can I assume you're a drummer, too? Have you marched/are you gonna try out?
try out some open class corps or lower level world class for a better transition, just some advice. some people think they can just get automatically put into bluecoats or cadets carolina crown their first year and get disappointed - unless youre actually a godlike player who can miraculously march extremely well and blend with an ensemble
