| Expected this to be one of those 5-8 minute per episode shows, and boy am I glad I was wrong. Love this manga to bits, and the anime pulled it off quite well. Looking forward to Umaru's U.M.R persona, and I can't wait to see Sylphie's brother, Alex. Already pre-ordered Umaru's Nendroid (looks exactly like her Chibi). |

| Gosh that was a perfect adaptation. I am glad they went with a 24 minute episode length. Really love the OP. Pokemon, Mario Kart, Monster Hunter... and also some cameos like Chopper (One Piece), Hatsune Miku and even World Trigger. Seems it is good since it is published by Shueisha. It was awesome to see all the girls too. Especially Ebina-chan. I believe this anime will go ahead and probably adapt on what's out right now, since there is even a voice actor for Kanau (Taihei's boss). So it is going to be good. |

| First of all, it's Doga Kobo so let me clear my throat. Ahem. HECK YEAHHH DOGA KOBOOO. Ahem. Now for the actual anime, it's good. Doga Kobo did nothing wrong. It's just that Umaru has... all the qualities I dislike in a character. She is perfect, and I find that unbelievable as hell, never liked this trope even in a comedy. Second, she is fake: Depending on how it's done, it might be actually very well-done, but so is not the case here. I will continue it within my next point. 3rd: She is lazy. Too lazy. I don't like characters who are bossy and think they own the world. She can be a bit cute at times, but man, she needs to stop acting like a pampered kid. I hope she will have some character development because so far, I am not feeling her character at all (except for her otaku side) The side-cast seems more interesting. I am interested in her best friend, swimming club girl and esp. that ojou-sama. 7/10 for this episode. It had its funny moment, but it needs to improve. Umaru needs to grow, or else I might not like it much (unless the side-cast turns out to be really, really solid) |

| I feel bad and pity for brother Taihei for having a slacker little sister like that, just because he has a job, Umaru goes full spoiled. I like big-boobed Nana Ebina. (new VA eh?) But since Umaru is doing very good on her grades, Taihei brother can't really complain. What a tight spot. Umaru is also doing well on her facade on school. This is just like OreImo but with a bit of lightness when it comes to the good relationship of these two. 5/5. |

| She's cute in her normal form but she's fucking adorable in her chibi form. I'm not going to expect anything serious. I love it for its lighthearted quality. I would love to own an Umaru-chan chibi doll just to use as a pillow. I know people say she's annoying, yeah but remember in Japan having a bossy imouto is a fetish for some nerds and otakus. It's like making someone who isn't into BDSM to start liking BDSM porn. It's a preference. I think Kirino from OREIMO was more annoying, she isn't cute like Umaru. She's too cute!  |

 Is she playing MarioKart on a PS3? =D I like this show for its otaku references (and seeing what "variation" they come up with, like GameCenter DX and Jun Piece lol), but I don't really like her, almost as annoying as Kirino... No idea how she has perfect grades without studying, or such good complexion on a diet of cola and junk food (am I inserting too much logic into this? yeah probably XD) |

| Hmm, well that was ... interesting :P OP fit really well but didn't really like it - the ED was more my style. So Umaru is completely different at school than at home eh ... well, I think I can understand her XD Pretty funny seeing the difference though, like how she rolls around (I totally don't do that ... XD). At times I really do feel bad for her brother though, since he's obviously trying his best. I find her kind of both pretty spoiled/obnoxious but I think she means well, in her own way :P Lots of great references though (One Piece! Jump! Miku!) and hoping the rest of the show will be equally as entertaining. Looks like we'll get more of a focus on her friend Ebina next week, and maybe her school life too? |

| Didn't originally have this on my watch list but I'm glad I decided to give it a try. They've done a decent job of tying several semi-episodic chapters together for a 24 minute show, so I'm happy. It looks like there may be some plot development too. |
