| Very harsh rater. If I didn't knew him I'd wonder if he enjoy animes or if he just wants to pretend to be a "critic". I can see someone thinking TTGL or EoE as masterpieces, even if I don't agree, but I really don't get KLK, which happens to be his favorite. His list is growing very quickly Decent design, but I'd rather use the tags on another way... some are too big for that design. Other than that, I love the use of tags here. It's really weird that there a lot of things we can actually agree, but at the same time, a lot of things we completely disagree. And there's a lot of both cases. I feel like he's more into very fast paced things. Like he will have less problem with something being paced to fast than with something slowly paced. I'm the other way round, prefering something to have a slower pace before having a fast pace. Not watching a lot of weekly anime Incest fan... probably Definitely a unique taste, which is something I can respect. |

I want to like it, but I can't quite get into it. Anyways, you're a self-proclaimed elitist who also openly likes cute anime girls. That's quite odd really, as we actually have a higher manga compatibility. Comparatively, I've watched twice as many anime as you, but you've read magnitudes more manga than I have, yet we apparently have quite similar tastes. Based on that, if I say "smart, quiet, non-violent but dramatic show with cute characters" would describe something we'd both enjoy. Just looking at your anime list, you rate low compared to most I've seen. A large majority of your lower rated anime are specials and movies attached to parent shows. It seems like you either watch extras to purposely lower your scores, or you watch them in vain hoping they provide good extensions/closures to the main series. As far as full length shows though, you dislike comedy/harem shows and action/adventure stuff aimed at teenagers, although you do have select favorites in stuff like Fullmetal Alchemist and Rurouni Kenshin, so you do discern some of the things you watch. Perhaps it's because they have a more invested and concentrated plot, despite their respective lengths. Perhaps they're dramatic in a way that resonates with you. I'm just guessing at this part. I can't see any specific genre you like. You seem to like anything so long as it has a strong purpose and follows through to the end. This is evident in how you also enjoy relatively relaxing and episodic shows. Both a well-crafted artistic show and a calm slice-of-life show can have a strong purpose. Any sense of plot or conflict comes secondary to that. Once again, you do state you're a self-proclaimed elitist with a thing for cute girls, and it shows. There's a good mix of "elitist" shows, of which I'm not in liberty to name. Simultaneously, you can still like shows like Aria, Nodame Cantabile, and Love Live, so rather than putting yourself down, I'd say you're lucky enough to be able to enjoy smart and serious shows just as you can enjoy fun and silly shows. |

| ^^ Design looks good, but it's not really pragmatic. It doesn't have general stats nor I can rearrange the list by score. Also, while the covers in that form look good, it's really unconfortable for scrolling. Just by looking the list, I can't even say how many completed series are there... certainly not much, and the scrolling thing will get worse as the list grows. No drops Decent, but not great PTW. ^ Again, not a fan of the big covers, but other than that, it does look good, and this one does offer both stats and possibility to sort by score.
