| Saying Utena has a homosexual subtext is like saying water is wet. That being said, if that's all someone could get out of Utena, then...I'm not sure what to say actually. |

| You hate homosexual men yet have a yuri hentai listed as one of your favourite series... why is it that girls are allowed to love each other, but men aren't? I completely understand not wanting to see a load of dicks swinging around, but why the incessant hate for anything that may possibly glance in the direction of something more than platonic between men? Are you from the deep south US by any chance? |

| Berserk gay moments are minor: it's implied that Griffith had sex with a man, but doesn't show it. NGE episode 24 is pretty gay, but no gay kissing anything like that. It's the only episode like that in the series. Yu Yu Hakusho has a minor gay moment, where this henchman character says he is in love with one of Sensui's (a male main villain) personalities, the female one. |

In Utena most of the male characters are villians, so I don't care, I'll watch Utena. I don't like Asuka in NGE, but I believe she's absolutely one of the best characters in anime. But if I can't like them, what would them being well-written mean... I think Aoi Hana is easily one of the best yuri anime ever made... but it was boring, I prefer yuri like Sakura Trick and Yuru Yuri, those are what yuri should be in my opinion. And that's simply cause I enjoyed Yuru Yuri more. And just cause they aren't openly gay doesn't mean they aren't implied to be gay. After all, the site was correct about Peace Maker Kurogane... which doesn't matter cause the gay characters aren't the main characters. And I only see one of them as gay anyway. The site was also right about deathnote. I finished it, but that foot scene was fucked up. |

It depends, there was kind of some yaoi subtext in "kids on the slope", but it wasn't strong enough to make me say, "these guys are gay"... as long as the subtext isn't so pronounced that it makes me think the characters are gay, it's fine... For example "L" from deathnote is probably autistic and doesn't know much about social skills.. perhaps he wanted to give Light a foot massage because it's simply a new skill he wanted to show off. Light is obviously not gay and clearly was letting him do that because he's deceitful. Japans are more accepting place for that kind of thing, so possibly. Plus L doing that was also a religious reference. And L might just not think anything of giving a guy a massage. so since it doesn't directly seem that the characters are gay, it's fine. |

| Your delusion knows no bounds. The foot scene in Death Note was symbolic. Jesus always washed the feet of his disciples, even Judas, who Jesus knew would betray him. L knew Light would betray him, that's what the scene represents. Honestly just quit watching NGE now, I really doubt you'd comprehend anything about iy. if you couldn't even figure out the foot scene in Death Note. |

I was still put off by the scene, but I don't see L as gay and understood that... if not, I wouldn't have finished the thing... and NGE's metaphors are fucking dumb... cross shaped explosions? Random religious symbols? naming the enemy after religious figures? The religious references there suck. However, I've only seen a few episodes, so I cn't tell I you want depth, watch Ghost in the Shell .
But why does it affect you? Why is it gross? Why are you incapable of getting over it?
What do you mean? I obviously have if I finished both those shows. I was just freaked out for a moment. Again... It's not a matter of it being gross... if there's a gay scene I can skip it or look away..but if the main character is gay, I can't like them. |

| Oh, almost forgot. I saw Death Note listed on that site, so without looking first, I'm gonna guess they're gonna use the reference to Jesus washing the foot of Judas as "evidence." And yup. Despite that, I'm gonna give the site the benefit of the doubt and hope that it's an elaborate joke. Edit: Judas Priest...I've been watching too much Hellsing. |
