| Same case as JackBrown. I scored Sword Art Online 10 because it's the show that made me rewatch anime so it's pretty symbolic. [last ones were Death Note and Fullmetal Brotherhood] Actually I'm rewatching Sword Art Online before for Gun Gale Online. [Episode 20 - Fairy Dance Arc] I remember back in 2012, I was so disappointed by the fairy stuff but finally, it's alright and can be really enjoyable if you don't dig too far. Love the duo Kirito x Sister Leafa and art of Alfheim Online. [beautiful landscapes] There were some random shit though. ["rape" of Asuna, etc.] It's a show with many bad points, still pleasant but not a 10/10 as Steins;Gate, Puella Magi Madoka Magica or Monogatari IMO. Any doubt that I will enjoy season 2. Shino ! |

The plot better be good. |

| SAO is not close to being my favorite anime, what you said makes no sense. And I've seen plenty of people get annoyed by SAO bashing even though they didn't give it a high score. Why shouldn't they care? negativity for the sake of negativity is fun? if they kept it to themselves nobody would care. |

| As someone who seriously did not like the first season, I am just going to skip it. I don't see any reason to watch a show you don't like just for the sake of bashing it unless you're a reviewer, masochist or a troll with a lot of free time. I watch animes for the purpose of being entertained, and if SAO:S2 is just more of the same then it wont be entertainment by my standards so I decided to drop it before it even started. I noticed that this show almost gets as much hate(and rightfully so) as it does fans. I watched season 1, didn't like it while many others did, so I just accepted that different people have different taste and standards and moved on. The reason this show gets so much hate is because it's like the twilight of anime(but for teenage boys). There are plenty of worse animes out there but the fact that something so meh-ish get so much praise and regarded as a masterpiece almost makes it seem worst to some. |

| Probably me as well. I just love criticizing everything I feel is bad in any anime. I've gotten bunch of hate for my "hatred" of SAO first season, I expect no less from 2nd season. For as we all know, if you don't like something in popular title, you're either troll or hater. Hell, the more hatred I get the better I feel :) |
| So fun to read the comments. In my case, I originally didn't plan to watch s2 when it was announced. I was very annoyed by the cousin in ALO. But then, I'm the type of person who will consider the seiyuu in there. I'm pretty indifferent with Miyuki Sawashiro (in fact, I usually dislike her character when it's the girl no 2 or +) but I really really like Matsuoka Yoshitsugu and he was perfect as Kirito. Kirito and Asuna were characters I liked, I would gladly watch them all the time, but I heard Asuna is going to be a damsel in distress again even though she can be a strong player. If I watch it, I would probably be bashing about it every time Kirito's harem get bigger. So yeah, count me in the haters if I do watch it, I already feel like hating it before watching it. |

| On a scale of lolis, season two is going to be 420 out of 10; would blaze. Am I the only person who thinks the second part was the less disgusting of the rotten eggs that is sword art online? Is there ANYONE out there who agrees? |

| I'm one of those guys who actually enjoys the franchise (I read up to volume 13 of the LN), but for whom the fanboys ruin the show. Then again, I can watch pretty much anything and still get some form of entertainment out of it. SAO is far from being the greatest anime of all time, but I'm still looking forward to GGO, and yet another amazing soundtrack by Kajiura Yuki. |
| I'm really glad that SAO is coming back. It's just it won't be my favourite arc because I'll have a hard time liking it since I don't play Halo and such. |
