| Hmmm, weird!! so, everyone liked this ep??! I actually gave this ep 2/5, I thought it was retarded, Jiraiya running for his Sage mode to activate ... and a clumsy frog above all of it for one of the Legendary Sannin??! even if it was original, I would say that it completely sucked and was stupid >_>. Now, next ep is gonna be something .. I mean the real fight would begin in it, not like this one ... | I think Shippuuden has finally stated to pick up again after 18 months of filler and slow paced crap episodes. This fight is one of my favourite fights in manga ever and they've animated it well so far. |

That's actually a good theory. You misunderstood; that's what she's saying, is between that filler and when that chapter was released, there was plenty of time for her theory to take place. So yeah, she's talking about the last part of what you said. |

| Well this is what Naruto is meant to be all about, with these kind of episode, the lackluster story telling and animation is all forgotten. The story has become so diverse now, much poignancy is going to be felt for Jiraiya in the next two episodes. This episode was great, I loved the fights, even though there was repetition of "I guess im just clumsy" it was still a great joy to watch, Pain is so mysterious and whats with Jiraiya turning into a toad, he looks awfully similar to a DBZ character in the Freeza saga. forgot his name lol. Can't wait for next week! |
| Minus I hate how they only have good quality once in a while, especially when it's in the middle of something. The ending of the fight would have been more appreciated. And no pointless long-spun flashbacks. I'm so sick of them, they're everywhere, all the time in Naruto. In both anime and manga. Filler fighting, but it looked good. And the supporting characters have been there forever. Why don't we know more about them? Yey on Iruka in the ED Plus I like the new opening and ending very much ^^ |
| I think it's just me, but the scene where Jiraiya's running and waiting for the sages to be summoned really reminded me of the animation typical of Studio Ghibli... Great episode; I'm really glad I picked this anime up again :D |

| Great episode. Lol now the Elderly woman & man frogs are back. They're hilarious.. the fight so far has been good.. but Jiraiya thought he could take down just one Pain. Now he has to deal with all 3. >:D! |

| Took so long to call forth those two Sages... so yeah, I'm sure it'll be worth it. >D The great animation continues! :D And... I have to say, Jiraiya running from those explosions was pretty comical... Though I am wondering, at this point, what Jiraiya was asking as well: Why isn't Pain himself actually fighting him and just throwing a bunch of Summons around? (From the looks of the end of this episode, though, perhaps Pain is actually going to start doing something...) |
