pipeds said: Don't try to mince words, ok? No matter how a person is so busy, a person like him who is a hikokomori would know that essence of love... And also, he ain't that busy that he actually had time to go to a couple date, walk around the festival, etc. etc... Let's face it, Shiroe is an idiot not to notice that there are ladies that are attracted to him. Or does he know and he wants to be all "cool" and all. I don't know. Shiroe's personality is just "VERY" unrealistic even though I know this is fiction. Huh, what's unrealistic about it? Everyone's different. Though he's oblivious about it now, when he finds out and doesn't show interest, so what? He's known the girls for quite a while now, but he's not so observant about them, or rather, he just doesn't automatically assume it has to do with romantic feelings. Relationships is probably far back in his mind right now; he has so many other things to think and worry about, especially now with the People of the Land plot. Plus, really, he's a paternal figure for Minori, and friends for Henrietta and Akatsuki. I can't ship these couples. pipeds said: Man, this is the first time I've ever seen a hikokomori guy(Shiroe) denies the love of women.... very strange indeed... Please... just no. Quite sure that's a stereotype too. (or rather, how they're portrayed?) I like IsuzuxRudy, that's about it. >> I need to stop reading these forums... But anyway, the buildup is getting me excited again. I like that the resolution with the People of the Land earlier did not suddenly turn them into a trustworthy, "good" force. There's plenty of tension between them still, and I'm enjoying this plot during the festival. :) Glad we didn't get another episode 22. |

I don't think the author actually mentioned which university Shiroe attended, but yes, he was a postgraduate engineering student, so he's not a shut-in. He is however an introvert and thus found it difficult to socialise, although he did have firm friendships with the few friends he made, especially Naotsugu. |

I have yet to really see what others see in this series. Maybe I'm missing something. This series will finish with a 6 or a 7 most likely for me. |

The plot is moving a little better now from that last harem type episode which was filler to me Got to see isaac and crusty talking together, and they actually have high respect for shiroe Pretty sweet finger stop by shiroe when that guy was about to punch him Next episode looks pretty good |

Man, it just very weird. It's like they have forgotten about Earth. They never talk about it anymore and it seems only Shiroe is the only one curious enough to find about the truth in that world. Almost all the players in Akihabara would rather want to have a "school" festival than finding the truth. It is just very weird. It's like lacking... "seriousness". |

I think it's not weird if you are to busy about the current situation. What keep them deviated from thinking the old world because of fun and how to survive. If you are thrown into an unknown island, first you must think on how to survive and make yourself comfortable to that island and after that you have to find a way to go back home. I can imagine on why they just keep it to themself about the old world because they have no lead to and in addition, if you think about the memory lost of the old world if they've got killed is maybe one of the factor and in the early apocalypse day, many player died from PKing or raiding. |

Shiroe was still a student before the Catastrophe, so no I don't think he was working. As for the majority of the Adventurers, I'd chalk it up to them feeling resigned over their fates since there really is no answers yet. And since there is no point feeling dejected 24/7, they would probably try to enjoy their new lives in this new world. Hence the festival. |

That is actually the problem.... How should this players take their time and have fun RATHER than finding the truth about this world? there are over thousands of players out there and the only one I see finding out the truth is Shiroe and him ALONE! What the heck is that? And If I were to be there, I'd travel like an adventurer would... not make festivals like you were a highschooler.... this ain't how adventurers should act... if this is how they act... they should just be called as Highschool Students since they clearly do not do adventures at all... See how many people engage into business and put up cosplay shops, coffee shop, restaurants and other businesses... my question is... what are they gonna use that money for to begin with? It's not like they are going to die by not working since they are immortal and all... For me, they are truly wasting their time with this bullshit festival... It's like they don't even want to go back to Earth at all... like they want to say is "Fuck the real world, this one is much cooler!" or "Who cares about Earth, it is shit anyways!"... And worse part is, they don't even say such things... things about Earth and how to go back... they totally forgot about it already... But just like before, I still like the anime even though it is very unrealistic... the only thing that keeps me watching this is because of KrustyXLenessia couple...YEAH! |

To go adventuring is a bit difficult now when Serdesea become real. They are immortal, but its still hurts. That's why Shiroe formed Round Table Council. To organize exploration as a part of a Akiba's big mission. That's why they put exploration of the fairy ring as one of the main agenda, that's why the production guild tried to make something like ocypete, and if this show ever get a second season, Rodrick Firm will publish some of their research about the world. and.. that's why RTC decide to tax the adventurers in Akiba. to fund the big projects. It needs time, but it's one of the safest way and will gave them some time to prepare. They know that sooner or later, they should go out. They can't go adventuring blindly because they have no lead at the moment, so Akiba choose to do some quests in Eastal area like exterminating some goblins and raid the King after some time of preparation, it's nothing significant.. but it also become a mental strength for the citizens to gather their courage to do more. Having a festival will help their economy, boost the income of production guild. So, are they wrong? Or should Shiroe left Akiba to go adventuring? and killed himself without the support from Akiba? |

Good explanation @annettefelice. The same thing that I want to say. It was the matter of mentality when you are on the alternative world? The first thing you would ever do is finding security. Only the middle school mind set or narrow minded would rather harming themself by doing some dangerous thing without thinking the pros and cons. |

This episode is amazing, as always! I can't wait for the next one. I haven't read the manga but I feel like there is a war about to start. The economics and distraction of the festival I think will lead to a more political attack then economic one. That ugly guy must be an adventurer from the west that commands the other adventurers from his land somehow, and probably had a direct part in the world changing magic. I think his goal is to set up a partnership with the people of the land from this kingdom and take down the adventurers there so the western adventurers can control more of the land. This is all just guessing though, and I know Shiroe wouldn't let that happen!!!! c: |

At first, everyones have a chance to think the same way of shiroe but most of them doesn't have gut like shiroe for example Roderick where Henrietta assume that he appears similar to Shiroe but lacks Shiroe's guts plus Shiroe is a veteran player and a first mover because he has got a triumph card on how to make a delicious food by chance from nyanta. He has a track record of being called "haraguro Megane" because of thinking ahead mind set of his experience playing the game. When he was at lead of course you will see that he is the only one who think and studying about this world. For me it was realistic so far. About Naotsugu being open pervert yes he is still do some pervert stuff but in a manner that he find it comfortable but I guess not infront of the one who he likes. About the gentlement thing maybe he learn from Nyanta LOL |

Shiroe it's not the only one who studying about this world, but because he is the main character.. we get to see his progress most of the time. Now we got a news about Minami's world class magic, so there are another people who did the same thing as Shiroe. I also dislike Shiroe for one bad habit : he keeps doing everything by himself and too busy about his research until he almost neglected his guild ^^". Fortunately, he did some self reflect and maybe he'll tries to fix it later. All of the information about the RTC agendas came from episode 10. Now they playing a high level politic after they build a government. It's kinda strange if you expect some adventure story, but well.. this is the specialty of Log Horizon XD . They move as a society. About Naotsugu, LH airs in NHK-E which is child friendly. He can't spend his time blabbering about pantsu. Escpecially when Akatsuki around. Now they got Minori and Isuzu. Of course they'll scold him :P . We didn't get to hear many of his dirty jokes because he got a little screen time and in most of it, he must act as a great friend and advisor especially for Marielle in Choushi arc. All of the serious situation in Choushi required him to act as gentleman and maybe he's unable to talk about pantsu in front of Marielle. It will ruin his image in front of Marielle and the beginners XD |

haha. Yup, Log horizon is really some kind of "Start of an Empire of Gods" or something, haha... it's new but I get a little troubled by it for some reason I don't know... About Naotsugu... then he shouldn't have said his an open-perverts because perverts are perverts, they don't pick their target that much... and since he like Marielle, why didn't he say pervert stuff to Henrietta since she is also a hotty... also with Lenessia... oh well, as you have said, this is a child show...(that just makes me feel bad, hehe) |

I find this anime to be more and more interesting, after getting scared by SAO (which I liked, but the second arc and ending of first season made me die a little inside) I begun watching this anime with no hope whatsoever.. Now, 23 episodes in I no less than love it. It displays a world which actually feels just like an MMORPG, you can feel the world not being real, but at the same time they've got all these twists.. Now, this city seems to undergo an economic attack, which I've never seen in anime before, and I'm totally psyched up! Everything feels so great, the character development is SUPERB and everything seems so thought out. It feels so darn sad that the anime will end in 2 episodes.. And by my guesses there wont be a second season, how sad is that on a scale!? The reason why i suspect that there won't be another season is that since I've heard what the next arc is about, and they have 2 choices if they want to air it as anime: Either they change the age rating to R-17, or they rewrite all, ALL important parts.. And they need a good amount of budget to do either of them.. I really want to watch the rest! d*mn it! >.< Sorry for this wall of text, but is there anyone with an opinion or thought on my forecast? |

Don't think anyone's talked about the subtle flowers blooming between Krusty and Lenessia. I mean she inched towards Krusty a bit surprising him followed by a smirk on his face. I don't know about you guys but I find their development more interesting on how it's been. I really would of liked to have seen more of Minori and Shiroe but that may be hitting the bricks with the age difference and all. Though I don't know how old Shiroe is. I had thought people already figured out Marielle had a thing for Naotsugu many episodes back. I hope the remaining episodes aren't so rushed and I really would like it to end on a cliffhanger giving rise to a possible season two. |

Here's some info: 2 Episodes left with 2 chapters + 1 interlude remaining from the source material. (1 Episode usually consists of 1 and 1/2 chapter.) and Yes, It's going to end on a major cliffhanger if they didn't change anything. |

Sad taste you have there kid you came up to me in the first place making you look more like a kid who got slapped without me even knowing it and start crying about it to me |

A lot of sweet moments and comedy this time That Shiroe bear at the start was cute Looks like he's getting his harem with a third interest coming from Henrietta The invasion looks serious coming from Marves, it could be a trade war instead of fights |

Either Shiroe works so fast that we don't see him working (fast), or Minori already beat him at this. |

Apology said: They added a new villain at the last minute. He wont be there for long. And he's just part of an entire faction (an entire player city and kingdom actually) trying to bring Akiba down. They've been hinted at way back in the series so they're not really new antagonists. |

5/5 The anime with this episode, he manages to amaze me, not because there is something epic, but for bringing a certain pathos at the end of the season. Plot and narrative interesting, now the series we play it all! I wonder if they will succeed in doing better than SAO in this first season, for me, for now exceeded by much, but it is often the final hit of the viewer and more. I hope there will be a great final! * _ * |

Wow, can you say Love is in the air? Errbody feeling lovey-dovey this episode. Wow, even Henrietta feels some form of attraction towards Shiroe. In the last two episodes, Shiroe gained a harem, wow what. Then Marie and a possible attraction to Naotsugu? And finally there's Serara and Nyanta. Oh and Lenessia's thing while talking to Crusty, where she adjusted herself on the couch. I've missed Akatsuki and Naotsugu shenanigans. Glad to see they still haven't changed. Though I don't quite get why Akatsuki offered the wrong condiments to Shiroe and Naotsugu at the beginning of the episode. Or the floating mecha for that matter. Her pouting at Shiroe was funny too, haha. Looks like an economic battle is about to start with the People of the Land. I'm wondering if that Lord Marves has a hand in this though he and his crew don't exactly look like People of the Land. And those "cameos", honestly, I think the Maou one was a bit of a stretch. I had to Google that one and it still doesn't seem very convincing. |
