| LOL, damn. Some of you are so desensitized to romance that you complain about well-written ones. There's nothing wrong with Minori liking Shiroe. I highly doubt Shiroe returns those feelings, which WOULD be wrong. But to Minori, Shiroe is this amazing guy who helped her and her brother when they were helpless, has been the best friend they could have, and has done nothing but try to help other people this whole time. Even Touya said he admired the guy. When you're young and you fall in love (or even in lust, lol) you don't really see age. I hope a lesson comes from this for her, as it's something that's actually been missing from anime for what feels like decades: the idea that yes, age is more than just a number. Now as far as shipping goes, I'm definitely riding on the good ship HenriettaxShiroe. Too bad that's the one with the least potential. This was a good episode, all in all. I'm an action junkie, but I long stopped looking to LH to provide that for me. I watch now for the incredible world building it does in every episode, this one included. |

But it's not a filler, as each scene you see builds up for another scene in the future. Also They're just adapting the LN very closely, but it just so coincides with the last episodes of the season. They're not planning to do something short term as omitting all of this for just an "awesome ending", they're actually making it available for a second season. |

Minori's "crush" will develop as a maturing point for her character. She's basically growing up mentally. As you can see in the next episode, She without any orders from Shiroe decided to help Charashin sort out all the paperwork with Shiroe becoming her "teacher" and role model. Akatsuki's "crush" will soon build up into the next season, as she has problems with her worth to Shiroe. As you can see after the early episodes her roles are very minimal. The next season will start by exploring that. Well either than the mysterious city in the west Minami, here's some thing going on in the future. -Getting Phantasmal Equips for the main cast -Rouge "AI" -Smart "AI" They don't really have a choice, it's either end it after the Goblin King arc, make real "fillers", or do what you must with the remaining episodes you have. |

| Do they really need to force half assed romance into every goddamn anime? I dont care if its the same in the LN it doesnt make it any better at all, this episode was pretty much a waste of time. Should have kept the student-teacher relationship untainted between Shiroe and Minori, its just feels way to forced. At least Akatsukis crush was always a bit hinted, I think they could have just kept the Master-Ninja relationship they had. Not every show needs romance and this is one of them. |

This was going to be the harsh lesson that Minori learns immediately. She's just a teen going through puberty. Not every show needs romance and this is one of them. It only last 1 episode so deal with it. |

And it's not bad, Mamare the author always make sure it doesn't end up as forced love. Read my post above. |

I thought this episode was pretty horrible, so I wouldnt say its not bad. Then again tough I am not a big fan of romance, so I only like the best of the romance genre. Kudos to your TWGOK pic tough, one of the romance anime I actually really like ;) |
| this ep has prevented me from giving the show a 9, its so cheesy, misplaced, unnecessary and quite frankly, poorly written. but on top of that the series is ending on a really underwhelming note which is the main reason its locked in as a 8 for me now |

| I always perceive Minori cuter than Akatsuki, so I can't help to feel frustrated watching Minori crying over Shiroe. If only I was there.. I'd definitely give my shoulder for Minori.. ARRGHH {sorry for the rant, i had to release it somewhere} |

"I hope his glasses break". Was a lol for me. Also Akatsuki was even more Kawaii. I understand Minori a little but Akatsuki has always been with him. I really liked the cake wars tough that scene where he was scared of both was great. We know probably from the ED who will win if he chooses anyone even. Then again his world his rules. He can get with whoever and however many he wants. I know. He can use his scribe magic to create a log out button. Sure some kinda sorcery/ancient magic could do something like that. Or alter some device to do it. |

| Akatsuki saiko! Really I wish for them to get some more romance development! Minori is just a third wheel imo... Lol @ Henrietta's Akatsuki radar xD Okay episode, nothing special tbh and well with 3 remaining episodes I doubt there will be much development other than a bunch of fillers or some character development. |

| I don't know about this episode.... I liked Minori as a character and i liked the (platonic!!!!) mentor-relationship she and Shiroe had. I had hopes that at some point in the last few eps she would kind of come into her own, using what she's learned from Shiroe and her own experiences to achieve something great. And I guess it doesn't make a huge difference if she has a crush on him, but the fact that she so suddenly acted on it is a bit of a disappointment for me personally. And as for Akatsuki, i want to like her too, but she's kind of just been a generic tsundere for a while. Although I don't mind Akatsuki x Shiroe because, well, it's been heavily hinted at for the entire show (the ending!). I know this is part of the LN's (which i haven't read, sorry) and not some randomly-inserted anime shenanigans, but it still feels off. I really enjoy the strategy and dialogue of this anime so far and this felt like a jarring shift in mood. It's not even that I have a problem with romance in anime or in Log Horizon specifically, it just could have been executed without a cheap love triangle. ofc i'm not dropping it or anything, and i have faith in the last 3 eps. |

| It was a fun filler, but it actually took a very serious step with Minori admiting she's in love with Shiroe. I'm not sure how canon is Akatsuki's development though. |

| This episode was just too awesomely kawaii & funny （≧∀≦）! Akatsuki was too epicly KAWAIII!!! this episode. Henrietta's senses are powerful! "I hope his glasses break" ROFL. I love the jealousy of the other gamers. & the brother sister moment was really sweet. |

So all the the characters in this series look like what the character's WANTED to look like, they are not supposed to look like what they really look like in the same world (with a couple exceptions, Naotsugu didn't care, and Akatsuki once she took the potion reverted back to her real appearance). Women generally want to look younger than they are, so a lot of the females characters in this world look younger and are far more attractive than they are in the real world. In the male case I think the opposite is in play, similar to how Shiroe made himself taller and more mature looking in this world, they want to appear more mature than they are in the real world. Also, don't forget that many of the main characters have been leaders of battle or trade guilds, and appearing more mature would help, not hinder them, whereas this would not be the case in the social guilds (Crescent and West Wind). So, it isn't a cliche, it's actually that way for a reason. Henrietta and Marielle are both about the same age as Naotsugu (26-29), and all three are about 3-6 years older than Shiroe and Akatsuki. The only mature character is Nyanta, though I think we are going to find out some things about him if they ever go into the "real world". The same I think is true with Serara, I have a feeling we are going to find out that she isn't anywhere near her supposed age (this is my spec, not anything I read, just got the feeling from when she was cleaning Nyanta's room). speaking of which, there's a transgender char in soujirou's harem guild.. i guess s/he pick such character for a reason too? LOL |

| Oh my god, that episode was so cute. Finally more Akatsuki screen time. We don't see much of her recently :/ Poor Minori though. |
| While I am enjoying this arc, I feel like it's really misplaced. Nice to see Akatsuki get screentime that's not just Henrietta fawning over her, though. |
