| Man all these excuses now....again it's going to be amusing when literally half these posters disappear over the course of next weeks episode thread cause they're only hear to take part in the memetic rally. Unless of course it's another dumb aimless fanservice episode. This is reminding me of old school Kyoani fanboyism though. Like the people actually trying to criticize it can't get one post in without somebody replying with a half baked excuse/reason as to why the episode was apparently great, not flawed in any conceivable fashion and everyone should apparently think so too. Well think about it, what has been the general tone of this thread? Unconditional acceptance is one description that comes to mind for me so the people writing this episode certainly read their core audience right on this one I suppose. Also that's actually pretty typical of the Kyoto Animation series that I've followed. They clearly love pushing things that ought to matter to the background and ignoring them entirely while forcing bad comedy and they're obvious obsession with dance sequences on us. Things like the cast bonding in a way that's meaningful and develops them beyond the fetishes they like to talk about and the odd expositional dialogue would cut into the time they have for the dance sequence and shower scenes after all, which is clearly what's most important to the production staff of this show. I think the reason it feels condescending is you and I are clearly outside of the particular group this episode is targeting so we can sort of see the cynicism and blatant pandering behind it. For those that are part of the core group they clearly don't care or see any problem whatsoever because they got the very simplistic things they came for. Honestly Kyoani should just abandon all pretenses from now on like they did with Free, it just seems to work better for them in a purely business oriented sense and it works for their core fans too cause there's nothing they like more than to cheer on their successes like there's no tomorrow and post their meme pics and such.. |

| Fun episode, I find myself enjoying this series a bit more each episode. The idol scene at the end was great, although I do wish they'd get back to plot. Cracked up with Mitsuki at the end frantically attempting to get soap out, I had to do that for like 10 minutes this morning with my shampoo. |

The entire episode was one twenty minute joke (as in, the good funny kind of joke). That training montage was like a parody of the show itself, especially when followed up by the hilarious dance and the ending which basically sums up the episode. It had elements of fanservice but the main focus the entire time was comedy. |

| 4/5 Another great performance of KyoAni that brings into play the latest episode filler! LOL I know that to have something more in terms of plot you have to wait for a new season! ROTFL Nevertheless it was fun storytelling, while noting a propensity on the part of KyoAni have saved on the quality of the drawings and animations. This is a serious incident which results in giving a vote of only 4/5! Hiroomi and Ai best this time, but little compared to the other characters! ^ ^ " |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

I saw trailers, and posters of this anime, and came into it thinking it was going to be all magic mysterious and a action packed dark fantasy. But ever since the start of the show I have yet to have the feel of continuation of this series. Granted, there are some good scenes with action and magic, mystery. IT'S NOT A BAD SHOW, But I expected a more deep rooted story, with plenty of character development for something of this genre. What I feel like I got, was a "Slice of life of a spirit hunter" type anime. If that make sense. As for this episode, I get it, fan service and filler, which is fine. But totally unexpected, Felt like kyoani was toying with me someway. Still, we have about 6 episodes left, Things still may pick up. |

| I personally enjoyed this episode very much, it was fun to me :3 But I can only recommend to watch this episode after you finished the anime as a special or an OVA, cause it is a filler episode, which has absolutely nothing to do with the main plot. It just distracts you from the story, especially because the story-telling of this anime is really subliminal. I can only assess Ep. 1-6 (Yeah, german subs obviously take their time xD) but that's what striked me :) |
