| I don't watch anime in public. If I did, I would have to make sure I had a stable internet connection and a legal website I can stream off of. I'm not showing anybody any illegal downloads. My laptop doesn't have a disc drive anyway. I really wouldn't know if I'd be embarrassed or not, but I'm probably not gonna try any time soon. |

| I actually watched Paprika and Summer Wars on two separate days during my exam week on my phone, and saw three eps. of Azumanga Daioh and an ep. of Slayers another day after an exam. I really don't mind it at all. Sure, I might get comments about it, but I really don't care. Its just a good way to pass time. |

| Laptop user here. Aside from watching Elfen Lied with my sister, I don't watch anime in public at all. In fact, only one other friend of mine knows I watch anime. I don't think it's something to be embarrassed about, as long as you don't inflict weeaboo damage on innocent bystanders. This could involve wearing plastic Naruto headbands in the mall, referring to your best friend as "Steven-kun", or making use of the word "kawaii" in the majority of your sentences. Then again, if that's what floats your boat... feel free. |

| I've never watched anything other than DBZ(something pretty much everyone has watched) in public and that was back in middle school so I'd like to say I wouldn't care but I'm not 100% how I'd feel watching Highschool DxD while some hot girl walks past and shakes her head in disgust. My parents know and don't have a problem with it though. |
