| Another enjoyable episode. While I don't think this is as good as S&W (yet), it does surpass the aforementioned series in some categories, such as music and overall animation. However, as of now, I believe S&W to be wittier in its conversations. Which isn't to say that the dialogues in Maoyuu aren't interesting, though. |

| Am I the only one that noticed the giant fucknig demon walrus in this episode... srsly where did he come from? Yeah this is no S&W but its still pretty enjoyable, some elements are starting to bug me a little though. |

| A wild DEREBAN appeared. lol The Guild appears to be more malevolent though. Still Young Merchant looks nice. Overall nice pacing. Although 10 eps left...is it enough to cover it all i wonder. |

| Yuusha shouldn't call Maou's name sound like the hongkong girl in FMP. It sound so weird, the seiyuu should just pronounce it Maou as in Demon . xD The compass is just a bait for those young businessman. Maou is planning something big. Compass was place above water back then and its almost impossible the balance dat needle on the ship lol. The new version of the compass has very simple design yet it was ingenious . Thus,it can be easily duplicated by outsider but those businessman want to monopoly that compass. Maou is smart for choosing a compass as a perfect bait .^_^ please stop comparing between S&W and this series..both have different story. |

| Yet another brilliant episode. I feared for pacing, but the whole thing so far flows very nicely. Love the characters, so far. Hero is clearly a "traditional RPG Hero", but at the same time he is VERY self-aware of what he is, which makes his character fresher and allows for some nice deconstruction of the genre moments. Demon King on other hand is shown to be strong-willed, intelligent, smart and powerful woman, with enough flaws and weaknesses to be relatable and interesting. Head-maid continues to be quirky and entertaining and the continuing presence of already introduced characters is great. Plot-wise this is intriguing and awesome: I love seeing all the politics play out and all those conspiracies brewing in the background. What she wants by giving that compass to the Alliance, revealing her "identity"? She herself says that the Alliance working as an organization, so any information not strictly confidential would spread out inside there. Now she has no way to pass incognito after she revealed, and will now have spies disrupting it. |

| The OP and ED for this anime are truly some of the best I have ever heard. This episode was another great one. It may be too early now, but I'm gonna call this as anime of the season right here. I am truly enjoying every minute of it so far. So assassination attempt on Maou and the Hero might not be there to protect her? Seems the plot is really starting to get going now. | I naturally have a strong dislike for medieval settings. I don't find economics interesting and I dislike male leads that don't make any romantic progression in 6 months. He better have a good reason for not going in for the kiss. 3/5 |

THe whole "oh look, how they brought it back from new world, hated the plant itself for so long and then learned to use its roots" thing is counted as "best thing ever" in most of history classes due to the whole nature of the perspective and outlook towards potato taking a 180 degree turn. |

There are animes, which progress much faster than Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, even though I am not sure, if we think about the same animes. |

| Well idk about this anime it's just not catching on for me. The story seems like this would be a very generic/cliche ride The environment artwork is really really nice and the animation is good but the characters aren't anything special in fact I see them as rather dull. Also the beginning brought about relationship between the was handled really weird to me , it felt random. This anime feels like it would be best as a movie idk just my thoughts |

| Unbelievable how good this anime is. I love the deconstruction of the dark ages through Maou, she is like the best women ever in anime history. It's so clever and has really good soundtrack and I'm fond of the art, it also makes me wanna play Harvest Moon again haha. |

Nah, Cal Devens... ^^ -- Anyway, the episode was great, I really, really love all the travelling/backgrounds/sceneries once again and the introduction of the Church ("old flame" lol) and Merchant Guild (Who are greedy/self-preserving and control 60% of the Wheat trade) were great too. Maou promotes farming, in exchange for the Church to branch off further and guide/educate the villages, and Yuusha goes to save his second "old flame". We also get a bit of intimacy between the 2 at the end there. Not bad, I'm definitely going to re-watch all 12 episodes again after it finishes airing at this rate. |
