| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Episode itself was done nicely. Gonna be a great arc, and it should continue at a nice speed like this episode done (1.5 chapters). Anyway... New op - Simply amazing. Animation is perfect, and music takes awhile to get used to (I'm used of it now after over 20 plays. New ed - Complete failure. Worst Gintama ed. |
| PUFF PUFF ACTION This episode was a perfect mix of funny moments & serious moments. A great beginning to a great arc. Can't wait for the next episode to come out. As for the OP & ED, new OP is great, ED average. It's not that bad, but perhaps it's the worst Gintama ED yet. |

| Wow, great episode! This arc is amazing already! The new opening was fantastic, and I didn't think the new ending was that bad. I like it. Can't wait until next weeks episode, the preview was awesome. |

| I will miss Wo Ai Ni too :( But the new ED is growing on me a lot, it might be such a cliche anime ending style but the Gintama cast needs some happy times too. Seeing them all enjoy themselves together is nice. And the new OP is awesome! | I actually liked the ED a lot. Made me happy inside. The OP was not my favorite but the visuals in it were the best that Gintama's ever don. Hilarious To-Love-ru joke is hilarious |

| I also really love the new OP, better than the previous one. I found that the ED ruined the serious tone that the episode ended with... but I'll probably warm up to it. I have finally caught up to the latest Gintama ep, and now I wish I didn't because I have to wait a week until the next ep :( when does it air in Japan, on thursdays? |

| This was a great start for the Jiraya arc!! I actually wasn't too fond of this arc when I read it in the manga, but I'm liking it in the anime a *lot*. The puff puff action is too hilarious! XD I'm starting to love the OP and the ED is meh, but any ED will be better than the Candy Line 3rd ED (I really hated that one). |

| Not the most interesting of arcs so far... Doesn't really live up to the previous Yoshiwara story. Let me guess, Gintoki is gonna get seriously injured close to death at some point but right before the villain wins he'll come back and beat the crap out of him, make a big speech about team work and friendship. Then we'll find out how the bad guy isn't really a bad guy, she/he's just misunderstood or misguided, thus ending the arc on a happy note. I hope that's not what happens but it seems to be the template for most serious Gintama arcs this season. I didn't really care for the new ED either, it's kinda bland, but the newest OP is pretty cool mostly because it shows a young Gintoki and his mysterious sensei who we never hear anything about. :( But hey Gintoki got some major boobage action in this episode which was pretty fun haha! And Tsukoyo is a cool sexy female character, so ill stick with it for now. |
