DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- We got to see the origin story of the strongest tag-team, the flashback was good, Bee stayed true to himself all this time but Raikage still hasn't learned Minato's lesson. I don't remember how many times we said shit is about to get real but after next week's episode Naruto should finally enter the battlefield. I like both the OP and the ED, the latter one especially for the visuals but the OP has one or two spoilers I wouldn't want to see there. Too bad Pierrot already showed the Jinchuuriki in the preview, now you know that they are finally coming which you didn't in the manga and I especially like these last-page-surprises if you know what I mean. |

| Was nice to see some of Minato's fighting manoeuvres again i can understand why they called him Yellow Flash. He also made something clear to Raikage something he didn't know yet. |

Personally i stand by that decision, this IS where the shit gets real, from here on out its going to be one hell of a wild ride. Though don't get your hopes guys because their are two more fillers on the way. But i guess you can consider them sort of non filler, because they are actually material left out of the manga from earlier episodes that were decided upon the studio to bring back into the series but not in the same chronological order that the manga represented them. It was during the times when they were fighting the 7 swordsman of the mist. Though in any case, its probably just to disregard them as non filler really. If any non manga readers here were to watch them, they probably' wouldn't even know the difference. In any case, awesome quality, i hope the studio sticks to this kind of quality in this long 2nd half of the war and finally we get the new opening and ending and they were pretty cool, much better then the previous opening. |

| Wow, nice new OP song. This is one I won't be skipping for awhile. Anyways, it was nice seeing some of Bee and A's history, that was enjoyable. I will probably skip the new ED song but overall, this was an alright episode. |

| Finally back at the canon story! New OP and ED! I am getting tired of Totsugeki Rock. I am glad that they really shortened this flashback and didn't drag it. Episodes with 4th Hokage in it are just plain AWESOME. The Opening has quite a lot of spoilers to the upcoming events... and I feel like that opening foreshadows more fillers later on. |

| The new opening was horrible, at least it's better than the last one. This is the first time in weeks I was able to sit and watch this episode without skipping because I read the manga. It was a pretty good episode. |

| What's with all the Totsugeki Rock hate? It was one of my favorites and I think that I've heard the song more than 100-200 times the past 6 months. Regardless, the new opening is amazing too. I think that I will hear it many many times. :D |

| Cool episode. I really like the way the anime covered the Raikage and Killer Bee flashback. They could've made the fight with Minato more epic, but it's no big deal. Minato's still as badass as ever! The preview of the next episode looks great with Madara the other Jinchuurikis. What I'm really looking forward to though is |

| New OP and ED was really nice :) I really prefer this new OP over the last, it was kind of annoying really, this one is much better. The episode was great, I am glad we got to see all that, it just makes you really want to see the battle between ay/bee naruto/tsunade even more... I wish this episode would have been an hour long, can't wait for next week >_< |

| Really enjoyable episode, I liked Bee's story in the manga and I loved it in the anime :) Naruto is FINALLY joining the battle, I getting tired of his training. New opening - better than last one (I must admit that it was catchy though) and than the one before (loved the song, but so many filler shit in this...). Well, my favourites are still "Sign", "Toumei Datta Sekai" and "Diver", I wish for something like that again :( Anyway, the new one is pretty cool, I like scenes which were used in it, reminded me of a few things I've already forgot (crying Gaara~!). Ending isn't my favourite, kinda dull. Song isn't that bad, though it's not catchy. Animation is really boring one - chibi Naruto fighting taijutsu - how many times we have those things already? Too many imo. It's listenable at least ;) |

| What is with people in flashbacks, my god this is called "character development", learn the term it might do you'all some good. Would you rather have lifeless clueless characters just beating the shit out of each other, not knowing who they are or their background their relations with other characters, their personality, what makes them tick, etc. The reason you like gaara so much is because of his backstory, his past and how it ties into the present and how much he has changed over the course of the story. Being a jinchuruki and freeing himself from this chains of bondage and become the man he is today. The reason you like kakashi so much is because his horrible past, his personality traits and how he passed on those teachings to his pupils. How he became known as the copy ninja of 1000 techniques. The origins behind his sharingen eye. The reason you like orichimaru so much is because of his detailed past, how he became a deranged and maniacal serial killer bent on trying to achieve greatness in the shinibi world by gathering as much experimental data as he can to create the ultimate jutsu and how his ambition ties into the story and his connection with saratobi, sasuske, and kabuto. The reason you like minata so much is because of the great legendary things he did in the past, his views and how they changed many of the shinobi during his era. his willingness to protect the village from a great threat and his amazing fighting prowess when he goes up against madara. The reason you like naruto so much is because of his background, same as gaara's born with a jinchuruki who everyone hated in the world, he grew up with no parents, had to live and learn what the real world is like and in the process had to over come the power of the nine tails. Over come the feelings of despair, loneliness,l and what it means to have friends to protect and ultimately his dreams of becoming hokage and the many changes and growth he has has gone through to get their. Also how his ability to finally earn the recognition he deserves through the entire show, is what defines the character naruto. Some people don't see it that way, they consider naruto just a pointless annoying brat that relies on just his charka forms to do anything, but if you look at from a different viewpoint, the naruto we knew from the start of the story to the current naruto, he has matured in alot of ways since then and is not nearly as level headed as he was before. With out any of these back stories or devolopment in these characters, what defines who they are, thier ambitions, thier goals, thier past, thier personalities, believe me, you would not care for them nearly as much. they would feel very generic and it would be like bleach all over again, if thats what you like, is action, all action, to each their own i guess. Anyways im done with my rant LOL |

Something you won't find in bleach. |

| Best opening I've seen Naruto have since the Pain arc (Toumei Dattai Sekai). Diver, Lovers, Newsong, and Totsugeki Rock all sucked as openings. The ending was bland. As hell. The last one was better. I'm caught up to the manga, so this episode, as well as the opening, was a nice recap of old stuff. Looking forward to the next episode. |
