| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty funny! Loved the flute playing in the forest, haha. Although its a shame that the really excellent and coherent comedy/drama genre developments in the first episode are completely gone, I still like the wacky irreverent style on display in this episode. I dont care which way it pans out, its fun eitherway. |

| So we move from slice-of-life/drama to some RPG parody. And judging by the new setting, looks like we'll be genre-hopping yet again next episode. Not nearly as good as Tower of Druaga's RPG parody, nor as bad as Hayate no Gotoku's, but it came out a considerable time before either of those, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. I suspect that if I hadn't already watched those two previous episodes, it would have been a lot funnier. Nonetheless, I still chuckled a couple times. |

| So it seems like Abenobashi is an isekai, huh... That mole reminded me of TTGL. Some of the costumes of "the boss" surely were references to something, right? That strange sword of hers seemed familiar too... I lost it when Arumi started to use snails xD They were shown in ep. 1 haha. Isn't it convenient that she always has some folded paper to beat Sasshi up? That artifact's effect being growing one's chest was the best reveal of the episode xD Well it's obvious Arumi likes Sasshi (who else?) but still. The spell came out of nowhere though. And they arrive on a giant space chicken... WTF Star Wars OST remixes O_o LoL Exactly what was needed. P.S. Hilarious how Arumi spent the entire preview time in ep.1 complaining about Sasshi's look P.P.S. Fast hand movements have a distinct "rough" style. P.P.P.S. Where did the flute come from, I wonder? More money after respawn? :p Arumi had black (and not red) eyes during the first respawn sequence btw |

| So that was really the usual isekai fantasy world with medieval elements and video games ones (with the bosses and special items etc) but damn now they got teleported to Star Wars world in the space and they even remixed the main theme of it ahahaha, that really made me laugh xD |

| one of the episodes i remembered the least, still not one of my favorites of this series, but it works to set the tone for future development. Sooner or later RPG-esque plot should have happened, and it did really fast. OP is still catchy, pretty and entertaining after two decades... even back then i discovered it was sung by... girl Ranma. Amusing. |
