| airing right now is UN-GO, i feel like its such a fun show with a unique feel to it and some damn good mysteries but people seem to be to set off of how the firts few eps were and im not loving it but i am enjoying it (7/10) guilty crown, i think people are being a little too harsh on it just cause its popular and they are letting their inner hipster get the better of them also rahXephon while not hated much anymore cause pretty much anyone that actually tries it sees why its so highly regarded by the people that like it. but it still none the less got a lot of hate mainly by the eva fanbase but hey what mecha doesnt get shit from eva's fans back in the 1996-2004 time |

| A love or hate choice is darn right impossible, but it's a doable topic: An anime movie I'm especially fond of that doesn't seem to get much credit is Jin Roh: The Wolf Brigade. It has one of the best screen-told stories of all time IMO. And the main character is one of the most amazing mains in the anime medium as well. In the sense that it is very popular, I couldn't get into Code Geass. Sound, art, main character, script, pacing. I hated everything about those in the first 2 eps. |

| Anime I Love But Everyone Hates Blue Gender - I loved the chaos of it all. The development of the two mains seems realistic to me. I liked how things developed. Kekkaishi - I love the story and the characters. The powers are unique and interesting. Plenty of action, good music... honestly, I don't see what there is not to like about it. Anime I Hate But Everyone Loves One Piece - I hate the characters. They are annoying. The pacing in the first thirty episodes is ssslllooowww. It shouldn't take a show more than five episodes to get interesting and fun to watch. I thought Mr. Fantastic's powers were dumb even as a small child. Of course I think Luffy's powers are dumb now that I'm older. Gintama' - Not my kind of humor. I'm not against silly humor. I love Yakitate!! Japan for instance. But Gintama's brand of comedy isn't funny to me at all. Granted, I probably need to give it a few more episodes before I completely disregard it. Wolf's Rain - It's boring. It use to put me to sleep when it came on [adult swim]. Tiger & Bunny - Not really funny, the action isn't good... why is this anime well-liked? |

| Things I like that others don't seem to Blue Gender (you're not the only one n10sity)-ok, so the animation in the first half could be especially bad, but I think when it came to story and characters it was great! It's making me check out other things by the same director Glass Fleet-yes, there are better things in its genre, but I think for what it is, I really enjoyed it .hack//SIGN-really a hit or miss series, for me, it was a huge hit though, I especially loved the setting, though I could see why people think it's slow/boring RahXephon-ok, this does have a sizeable fanbase, but a lot of people go "NGE ripoff=teh sux0rs" but unlike NGE, I really liked this, I think it hit all the right marks. I wouldn't say people hate this one, but maybe just dislike for not being NGE, the very reason I loved it. FMA (the first one)-again, not exactly hated, everyone just goes "Brotherhood is so much better", but I honestly preferred this over the manga, it got more emotions out of me. Elfen Lied-another love it or hate it series, I bet we'll see this on the other side of the list for some people too. Things I hate that others seem to like NGE-this seems to be a love it or hate it thing these days, and you really need to watch it in the right time in your life it seems, but clearly I missed that window and I hate it as a result Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex-the 5 eps I saw made me wanna blow my brains out. They weren't interesting eps, they didn't grab my attention, and the Major looks like a cyber hooker. Any Studio Ghibli film-I do not care for Hayao Miyaaki, I think he makes perfectly average movies at best. Escaflowne (TV)-I think it tried to mix too many genres while not really succeeding at any single one. Eden of the East-meh, I feel like it misdirected what its original focus was to focus on johnnies, sure, but the main boy and girl never really felt real to me Serial Experiments Lain-another love it or hate it, I loved how the shadows looked like holographic Pokemon cards, hated everything else. |

| Anime I Liked That Everyone Else Hated - Kodomo no Jikan - For all its obvious trappings, I will never understand why so few people look past the surface and see the deeper, darker psychological underworkings. It's not perfect, but it's worth the time of anyone who actively wants to give this show a chance instead of demonizing it. Great, great series. I hope they make more soon. Anime I Hated that Everyone Else Liked - BakaTest - I felt had by this series. Three insanely hilarious episodes and then it went nowhere. It ran every running gag into the ground, had terrible characters that they couldn't build off of, and the most bullshit LOL GO WATCH SEASON 2 endings I've ever seen. I hate this series so freakin' much. |

| I love, others hate: Gundam Seed (The only one I could really think of, but this universe in the gundam franchise took some serious flak from most viewers for some reason). I hate, others love: TTGL (Gurren Lagann) has to be the worst anime I have seen since Vandread, the mixing between post apocalyptic and comedy does NOT work. While some people will argue that the show doesn't take itself seriously, I will point at Nadesico which didn't take itself seriously most of the time and ended up being good in the end. | Anime that I love but everyone hates; Panty and Stocking w/ Garterbelt Okay I guess this had a mixed reaction. But I saw more people disliking it more than I saw people liking it. I thought it was pretty unique and I enjoyed it, I really liked how they poked fun at American cartoons. Very nicely done. Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Alot of people compare it to Index and say it's not as good and in fact is terrible but I think otherwise. Maybe it's because I watched Railgun first, but I don't think it's inferior to Index in any way. Anime that I hate but everyone loves; Nichijou I just cannot understand why so many people like it. I hate it;I don't find it funny. I've even searched for all the funny moments of Nichijou on youtube and I've watched all of them and I still don't think it's funny. It feels extremely overrated to me, the 26 episodes that were supposed to be packed with humor didn't even have a single moment where I found it funny. I don't even know why I even bother watching it. Feels like a huge waste of my time. |
