My fovorite is Morgan Freeman. he can play any role perfectly. he could even play a 70yr old, 1 eyed, 3 foot tall Chinese man and win an Oscar for his performance

My least favorite is Keke Palmer. I swear everytime i hear her "act" she sounds like a 6 yr old kid reading off a notecard in front of her 1st grade class.

There are many talented actresses and actors that I admire. However, I would say my current favorites are Summer Glau (Firefly/Serenity, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and Alex O'Loughlin (Moonlight, Hawaii Five-0).

Least favorites are more difficult for me, because I generally ignore what I dislike. An actor I don't particularly like is Chevy Chase, and an actress that I don't like is Alicia Silverstone. (This opinion is based only on their acting skills and not who they are as individuals.)

Any of the new generation Doctor Who's. I'm not as fond of Matt Smith but he's still pretty awesome. Tennant was the best, hands down.

Any post-2005 Disney "actors" are terrible.

There are too many to name, I totally agree with Morgan Freeman though. I would be happy with him narrating my life.
I'd have to say that the crown goes to Adam Sandler though, no-one has made me laugh more than that guy, and there's been very few movies he's starred in that's let me down (like "Funny People" What an ironic title for such an unfunny movie -.- ).

As the worst.. I'd have to say Paris Hilton. For obvious reasons.

Really? You think Ryan Gosling can't act?

For me I'd go Toni Collette solely for United States of Tara for current favourite, least favourite no idea.

bottom males : Samuel L. Jackson ????? Are you kidding me? hahaha!
also... Monica Belluci? O.o

Anyway, regarding the OP's post... I don't think there is no such thing as "perfect" actor. It's no doubt that some are better than other but in the end it's really a matter of preference.

Top male actors:

Charles Chaplin
Al Pacino
Toshirō Mifune
Peter O'Toole
Samuel L. Jackson
Anthony Hopkins
Rober De Niro
Sean Connery
Robert Redford

Top female actors:

Audrey Hepburn (she's a goddess imo)
Monica Belluci
Natalie Portman (I've been a fan ever since Leon)
Rachel Weisz
Brigitte Bardot
Audrey Tautou
Judi Dench

Although my least favourites..? I'm not too sure.

It's Bellucci. 2 Cs.

I am not kidding anyone. My list is serious and so am I, unlike some random guy who laughs at people's faces.
But sure, anyone who has different tastes than you has to be "trolling".
Oh, well, not a surprise, since you seem the average male who worships Samuel L Jackson because he's "badass" and drools over Monica Bellucci even if she can't act shit.
Grow up. You can't have respect if you don't show respect.

bloodlover said:
What makes you think I like Samuel just because he's "badass"? You are aware of the fact that he played in other movies than Shaft and Pulp Fiction right? (and btw the role in Pulp Fiction was epic and anyone can confirm that).
And also I don't drool over Monica (that would be Natalie Portman) but I actually find her to be a good actress and a beautiful woman. Unlike Sarah Michelle Gellar who mostly appeared in wannabe horror shows that require zero talent .
But hey, what do I know right? In fact I am just an average male that likes Chaplin

"Monica Bellucci is a better actress than *insert any female name here*"
And that's where your reasonings completely lost credibility.

This. You gotta love em.

I also really like Jack Nicholson. He's really good. So is Morgan Freeman, but he's not a favourite, I'm just acknowledging his talent.

I like Ashton Kutcher. Bite me, I don't care.

As far as actresses, I don't have any personal favs, but I absolutely despise Kristen Stewart. I couldn't hate her any more than I do now; it's impossible. She is just a god-awful actress, even outside of Twilight.

I forget the forgettable for a reason.

In new talent, I kind of like Jason Mamoa, liked him as Ronin in Atlantis, and thought he was good as the Horse Lord in Game of Thrones. Want to see his Conan.
While not technically anime, currently I am a big fan of Hatsune Miku.
At least I can go see her in concert.

Viggo Mortensen, Takeshi Kitano, Jackie Chan and Naoto Takenaka are actors I particularly enjoy. I think Viggo especially is beyond brilliant, such a dedicated man.

To those saying Adam Sandler is their least favourite, are you basing that on his comedy roles? You should really go and watch both Punk-Drunk Love and Reign Over Me. The man has talent. A lot of it.

I can't say he's my favourite actor, since I don't especially care for his usual comedic ways, but Jim Carrey really grew on me after watching Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. If you haven't seen that movie you definitely should; Jim Carrey plays a serious role and does a fantastic job.

But apart from that I'd say I tend to enjoy Leonardo Dicaprio's acting the most.

Favorite Male

Jackie Chan - May not have the best acting capabilities, but he is always amusing to watch -- not to mention his boss devotion towards stunts.

Jason Statham - Typical badass brute ( Transporter yo ), albeit Jason did well in some more serious movies, and is quite charismatic overall.

Morgan Freeman / Tom Hanks - If Morgan is God, then Tom is Jesus.

Favorite Female

Milla Jovovich - Not really informed about her other movies, but I fell in love with her in Resident Evil.

Jennifer Love Hewitt - I wanna marry her and her ghosts.

Least Favorite Male / Female

Steven Seagal - He acted in 10,000 movies, and always has the same personality, which he actually preforms quite lame.

Sadly, I've been so entrenched with Hollywood movies that just about every famous actor is on my liked list, to limit myself to 10 in no order:

1. Liam Neeson - this guy's voice is SO DEEP. More awesome than Gandalf Ian.
2. Matt Damon - practically grew up watching his movies from Bourne to adjustment bureau back to Dogma.
3. Brad Pitt - beside his awesome physical features, he's been in Fight Club to Snatch to Curious Case to Inglorious Basterd.
4. Leonardo DiCaprio - needs more comedic roles, I think. He's just too good playing serious business all the time.
5. Morgan Freeman - another voice that is... almost godly. Should be narrator for every fantasy epic, ever.
6. Tom Hanks - There is no need to comment.
7. Robert Downey Jr. - Stunned me to hell with Tropic Thunder.
8. Denzel Washington - single-handedly made me watch Book of Eli.
9. Steve Carrel - EXCEPT for Dinner with the Schmuck, damn that movie was just bad.
10. Jackie Chan - Nobody, except maybe Stephen Chow, can make martial arts more hilarious, to the point that it never gets old.

Actresses:
Tina Fey - I swear I keep thinking she was Sarah Palin.
Cate Blanchett - Galadriel needs more fantasy roles. :(
Natalie Portman - First, her acting. Second, she's like, CUTE AND HOT (if only in your highness). What is that?

Can't name any other actress that'll make me watch a movie other than how sexy/cute they are. ;_; Uma Thurman, maybe?
