I really thought your review on Suicide Island put my thoughts into words on the most bothering aspect of the manga in this line.
"However, their naivety is pushed to the extreme for the sake of convenience and therefore drowns in absurdity. At a certain point, it feels as if they'll free themselves from the author's moralistic clutches, develop autonomy to break the fourth wall, and ask the reader: "Do you really believe this?"
I am going back to my review and manga of Suicide Island since the author Mori Kouji is going to be supervising the continuation of Berserk. Truly, I cannot see this going right in any way whatsoever knowing how this author writes even though Holyland is a favorite of mine.
