| I'm really new here but I think the reason why everyone is friendly to each other here is because we are already in a niche group of people who like one thing. I have buddies in motorcycle groups that are friendly to other motorcyclists no matter how much they know them. It's common interest that builds our bonds, so essentially, we see each other as comrades in arms rather than some random person at the store/coffeeshop/bookstore/etc. |

| I haven't seen anything bad yet either, although I haven't been here long enough. Like someone said before, similar interests keeps people friendly. On a generic forum with all types of people you'd get trolls and arguments all the time. But I tend to only visit forums of hobbies and groups that I like.... i.e. This forum and the PS3 forums so everyone is friendly and kind |

| Here's an extract from Urban dictionary. Which has been strangely updated to remove one other paragraph about Xinil, just showing you his power. From what I can remember of it the paragraph was about how Xinil should resign and that he only liked positive feedback despite having a site with so many glitches. | If you want to keep it friendly, stay out of the anime discussions. People get so passionate about anime that they forget how stupid they sound. If you say something bad about Legend of the Galactic Heroes or Naruto or Code Geass or anything popular, you'll get a series of followers and haters. Just try to keep a moderate attitude and don't let arguments escalate and you'll do great around here. By the way, if you've only really posted around the introduction forum, everyone is so friendly because they copy and paste the same thing to every newcomer. Most people who hang around introductions just want to raise their post count. Or at least it used to be that way. Don't know if it's still like that. |
