| Great flashback, shes quite beautiful :3 Buggy part was hilarious this time around. Man was that epic or what? The pirates show up and Moby Dick jumps out the water BOOM! |
| I loved this episode. The true story bout Rogue and ace is revealed and how he met luffy. Roger wanted garp to protect her and his baby at all cost. Rogue is a beautiful women if i must say. Its kind of sad to see her being such a threat to the world, that they have to kill off any women or children that could possibly carry the bloodline of roger. So she kept her child in her womb for a full 13 months. Then waited just right time to be pregnant under the care of garp. In away garp protected him and then turned ace and luffy over to Dadan. Hopefully more of this will be revealed. I like how so far this arc has a mixture of back ground character development and action. Its like the best of both worlds and man the animation. God i just can't get over the upgrade quality in animation. I can get used to this :P Then finally the ENORMOUS fleet of Whitebeard's crew arrives. I really love how they chose the use of colors in this, showing that each ship has there own different designs and logo's. Truly amazing.  Even i didn't think it was going to be that many ships. Seriously, all these guys are pirates with devil fruit abilities? I don't even know any of them, a bunch of new character. Man this is going to be one chaotic war. Finally we get to see what the "new world" is truly capable of. Even before luffy and the straw hats make it there. The moby dick looked awesome. Such a huge ship to and we get to see Whitebeards commanders. The tension just keeps rising in these last two episodes. Also "insanesoldiern" 2nd page of posts has spoilers. |

| Wow, these first two episodes kicked so much ass it was ridiculous. I love the style of storytelling, the series is obviously on a whole other level now. Edit: Oh, and the animation and art is goddamn stunning so far. Beautiful. |

| This episode explained just about alot! Simply WOW! Great twist in the anime.. really didn't expect that.. And since the beginning I was thinking Luffy was something special or even the child of Roger.. but anyhow.. his father isn't also a pushover.. This Portgas-Monkey family is such a powerhouse that its getting crazy! haha Great entrance by Whitebeard pirates.. everything's going to get awesome! :-D |

| This season is definitely gonna be one of the best! The flashback on Gold Roger was awesome, The whitebeards entrance was even better and the opening is 10/10! |

| It is weird that the marine and the world government are still considered the "good guys" God, one awful thing after another! Killing innocent unborns just like that!!! Also, I really hate Ace's hate towards Gol D. Roger. I fail to understand its reason! Hating a "criminal father" when he himself is a pirate? |

| If Whitebeard was trying to keep Ace under protection, why did he allow Ace to chase after Blackbeard alone? Even after Shanks asked him not to wu-wei said: the opening is 10/10! Not really |

| I had anticipated two ways Luffy's group could get in. Either like in the last opening they could fling themselves over the gate and launch themselves to Ace, or Whitebeard would coincidentally attack at the same time as they get there blowing the gates open. There was a third option I had thought of but it wasn't clear, I had just assumed Jimbei would have to have a plan of some sort to get the door open even though I wasn't sure what it would be. Obviously it was a variation of the second that came true but I wonder if Jimbei had faith that Whitebeard would get the gates open and that they could use that momentum to get in as well. I wonder if Whitebeard got somebody into Marineford before this war was initiated or if someone on the government's side betrayed them. Moria and the flashback confirmed it. Everyone related to Roger was executed, even an unborn baby was guilty. They even gave the order to kill all suspicious mothers, it's yet another example of that 'the ends justify the means' view they hold. Kill everyone related to the pirate king in any form and kill anyone who seems like they could be linked to him. Hell, even kill the fishman who made his ship, if we want to go back a little. So, knowing this, Rouge sacrificed herself to not have her baby until the suspicion was off knowing it would be killed and Garp was convinced to take care of Ace by Roger. Two things I found quite interesting was that Roger said he trusted Garp like he was one of his nakama, they may have bumped heads numerous times out on the sea but they garnered some respect for each other. It's not only the death of Ace that hurts Garp but that he let Roger down it seems. The other is that, although Ace is understandable in his hatred and renouncing of his father we saw Rouge still loved him even in her final moments. She happily named her child the names Roger picked out. Ace hates him because he got his entire bloodline killed and his mom who fought so hard for him. He renounced the name Gol D and even picked a new father. But, Garp and Rouge and Rayleigh and everyone who actually knew Roger seems to only have good things to say about him. The most important thing here in my opinion is that the government's plan was illuminated. It seems the point isn't to win out over Whitebeard, create imbalance in the sea, and then take over complete control. If we can trust Sengoku's words it's that he wants to stop Ace from continuing his bloodline and becoming the king of the pirates. He even thinks Whitebeard is protecting him and leading him to take his dad's place. This whole bloodline thing makes me sick, they were willing to kill everyone connected to Roger even before there was "proof" that they would follow in his footsteps. The evidence of him rising in power and teaming up with Whitebeard makes it somewhat more justifiable now but it's still pretty gross. Anyways, Whitebeard attacks, he opened the gates and closed the distance via some Rayleigh coating perhaps? Now it looks like the calm is over and the storm is beginning. |

| Garp's a good man for fulfilling Gol's last request by helping Ace survive for so long. It's sad that things had led to this but he did everything he could and it's not like Ace's guaranteed to be executed yet! I know that it's a war we're talking about but I certainly didn't expect that many ships from the New World to arrive and fight alongside the Whitebeard Pirates. The Moby Dick coming in from underwater by taking advantage of the ship's waterproof coating that might have been applied by the Dark King himself was one of the most epic entrances ever! |

| I sure hope there will be actual deaths in this "war" arc, even if it's only nameless background characters, because Pete knows Oda loves to make characters not die. Bozo ordered his men to kill pregnant women, that's a promising start tho. |

| 460 episodes deep and it feels like things are just getting started. The huge scale of the One Piece storyline really is epic in the truest sense of the term. I love it!! That said, the Navy in OP never fail to disgust me. Killing "suspicious" pregnant women and newborns is just vile. It's making me root for the pirates even more. |
