| Such a beast episode. The flashback with Roger/Rouge was elongated in the anime. And they ended up doing such an amazing job on it. Before going into the episode, I wanted to see the New World Pirates/Whitebeard more, but in the end the flashback really made the episode great. I loved the introduction of the New World pirates. Some of their color schemes were questionable, but it's all good. GREAT episode. Next week will be even more beast. Though I believe we will have a few more flashbacks before the fighting begins. |

| I thought it was hilarious that they reused scenes from the previous opening for parts of this episode and what a tease ending with the Moby Dick popping up, but not showing Whitebeard himself |
| The episode was boring for the first 15 minutes or so until suddenly....... Buggy performing a miracle with Ode to Joy as the BGM. I laughed so hard, then literally fell off my chair when that happened. Then I laughed some more. |

| This episode shows yet another example of the radical world government as they attempted to seek out and kill Roger's bloodline and the people he was involved with whether they were innocent or not. |

THe zoom out from Sengoku, the pan around the 3 admirals, and one of the clips of the marine ships and giants were all reused. |

| Great episode. Can't wait till next week. Garp is pure class for taking care of Ace knowing who's child it was. And I can't imagine the pain Ace's mother went through during the period of her pregnancy. They need to make next week an hour special. lol |
